@V-BELT and SON happy to see yall doing well. I'm a new subscriber up in Oregon. Have a 2021 F450 truck model. Just getting my business going hoping to make it happen big time this year. Thank you for the inspiration.
Glad to see all that fuel getting pulled down to the ground for a more healthy and sustainable stand of trees. Even if a big fire rolls over this property it will probably suffer a lot less damage. Do you do any lower limb trimming as you go as well?
Nice machine. I assume you are running carbides that work well when new. Do you switch to knives when they wear? Does the FAE head have the ‘Sonic’ control tied to the engine ? I bought a LamTrac 6140 with a Tier 3 4.5 Cummins - no DEF. I had to have a boom and rubber tracks for blacktop. The LamTrac is close quality wise to the Primetech - maybe a little less. I use knives in the middle on a 2100 rpm drum Fecon. The FAE is a better head The higher rpm - 2500 ? - does a better job. The Primetech will do a great job for you.
Seems like every time I see a new Vid by Sam, there is some new toy or other. When I worked for my dad, if I said we needed a tool, he would find some way to avoid buying it. For example, want a lawn mower, his solution, hands and knees and a pair of scissors. Tha new FAE head seems like a combo chipper rototiller.
Not a fan of Cimaf heads. Simply to make rocks in this area. smart and simple move just put knives on the Fae head when you get into thick stuffed. The machine is designed around the head. Fae is a far Better head and they also have dcr drums. Not sure why ppl like Cimaf so much. I have one it’s nice but I don’t see the Hype
Thanks for posting this comparison and can’t wait to see the next more in depth on the new 175. We actually just had a demo this past Week and it’s a definite Beast! It handled the 40 degree slopes with no problems at all. Now the issue between us and a new one is the price due to inflation and the scarce availability of the machine. We enjoy watching your vids and it even helps us learn more with our business. Keep up the good work Sam!!! Here’s our quick little 18 second demo: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KLBO6Xkciww.html
My husband really wants to talk with you about a Ram 5500. How can we exchange contact information so he can speak with you ? I e tried several of you RU-vid channels and sites. Thank you. Nancy Miller
@@Mr.BrushCutter if I had the jobs the required a 300 yeah. But then I’d need a lowboy to haul it. Different league. The 175 is a hoss tho. Both have their place
@@VBELTandSON sweet thanks. Id imagine the 175 is a league better than even the biggest skidsteers with mulchers. Might be the way to go when a guy gets busy enough . Thanks
Seems a little under power to the Cummins that you can get with them I’m up in northern Alberta Canada clearing for pipe lines I have 2 but have Cummins
