The VPC Constellation ALPHA Grip is our newest addition to our Constellation series of grips. Following on from the popularity of our DELTA Grip - we've paid close attention to the feedback from the community to provide the ultimate grip experience tailored for space combat but with the versatility to be the perfect match for any sim application!

The VPC Constellation ALPHA Grip will be produced in dedicated left and right hand variants allowing for a matching dual stick, or specific mixed/single stick tailored for your VPCockpit!
The VPC Constellation ALPHA Grip features a unique control set, including:
★ 1 x Dual-Stage Trigger
★ 1 x Dual-Position Flip Trigger (tactile switch trigger + button input for “UP” position)
★ Combination Trigger Stages - flip trigger and dual stage trigger and be pressed simultaneously as a combined trigger for additional trigger stages
★ 1 x Analogue Stick (+ Push)
★ 3 x 4-way Hats (+ Push)
★ 1 x 2-way Hat (+ Push)
★ 3 x Momentary buttons
★ 1 x Brake lever (VPC Contactless Sensor)
★ 1 x Scroll Encoder (+ Dual Push)
★ Lockable Twist Axis (VPC Contactless Sensor)

I Just recieved my new Warbird and VFX. I kept waiting to get everything i wanted at once. Finally figured that it is never going to happen so ordered Warbird and "settled" for the VFX. All I can say is why did I wait so long? The motion, precision and level of control that I have playing Elite Dangerous, DCS, and IL2 is truly amazing. Waiting for the throttle next and will eventually spring for the Constellation as I do play a lot of ED. I was on the fence for a long time before I finally bought one of these things. Retired so I fly every day. Coming from T16000 so it's a HUGE step up. I paid for mine. If you are on the fence about one of these things, just do it.

Amazing stuff. I will save up and invest in a similar Virpil setup in the next 2-3 years once Star Citizen gets a more refined flight model. Might also be enjoyable with Squadron 42.

im over 3k in ships alone. I have dual virpil deltas on top of warbrd bases. this is my one and only hobby. some folks drink. some race fast cars. I spend my extra cash on star citizen because its the game ive waited for my whole life. dont spend money you dont have and enjoy life with what you do have. ps. I will be buying these new alpha grips this year some time.

Have you considered making FAA quality General Aviation an Experimental Aircraft yokes, sticks and throttles? I'm sure there are more than a few owners who would pay premium prices to have a couple of FAA certified Constellation ALPHA grips installed in their Velocity or other small GA aircraft.

Alls I knows is that you guys have a scroll wheel on the stick. Not as good as a throttle slider or something directly on the stick, but eff it, with some binding magic, close enough.

At 1:37 the player has dual joysticks and the throttle. Can anybody tell me how that setup works? I've not seen anybody do that and don't know what advantage that'd have.

Will Hendo you can use the throttle to set the thruster power levels and then use the left joystick to accelerate and decelerate within those power limits. You can also use the throttle in mining as well.

I use dual stick and throttle for Star Citizen. My sticks handle the ships movement, and the throttle sets the speed limiter.

Yeah I use dual sticks and throttle in ED (X56 plus extra stick). Can never have too many buttons in space sims! can’t wait for my Constellation.. triple stick :)

Buys stupid expensive setup just to fly an Aroura Hint for VIRPIL: buy an actual ship for star citizen so you can show proper footage of what your product is capable of instead of having to use footage from other RU-vidrs.

You seriously think they setup that entire battle station of dual sticks, throttle, button box, pedals, mounts for all the hardware, $2500 VR setup, multiple people, etc to rip-off 45 seconds of Star Citizen footage? Who cares if they are flying an Aurora or a bloody 890 Jump? It was a demo for their entire product line not just the Alpha grip.

Also, the only time they showed ships other than the Aroura was when they weren't showing their product. Every time they showed their product and the game at the same time, it was an Aroura.

Good lord. Whatever company you paid to film this, whoever approved this commercial should be fired. A complete waste of money. You spent 80% of the video showing otherwise irrelevant (and incredibly pricey, but that is the market you're in) hardware to the actual stick you're announcing, and all we get are some text lines on the screen explaining any of the features. If this was done internally the fact you're always out of stock, and this disaster of a commercial goes indeed to show how little business acumen you actually have, and the fact that Thrustmaster can't pull their head out of their own asses farther than you and VKBSim is probably the only real reason VIRPIL is still in business. And kids, I am, in fact, a customer of theirs.
