Introducing Traditional Honeycomb 

Yes the A14 and then the Honeycomb Patina work great in that order. To get a fade, I would suggest feathering out a burnish with 0000 steel wool with the A14, then applying the Honeycomb over the top. So get your fade with A14 first, then add the Honeycomb finish.

Sculpt Nouveau Thanks! One last follow up: when I go to apply the honeycomb, will it affect the look of the unburnished A14 areas that I intend on being black? Should I apply it over the entire piece only where I intend the fade to appear? For example, assume I want to fade black to honeycomb (left to right). I would do A14 from left to a certain distance in the middle. Then I would burnish back the fade. When I come in with the honeycomb, should I then do the entire piece or just the extent of the burnished fade?

@@dmurski21 It shouldn't effect the A14 to much, I think it will be fine to apply the Honeycomb over the A14.
