Yikes. I'm not sure how much "better off' these poor guys are having to live in a carnival atmosphere with some idiot blaring his voice through a microphone at them. Safety seems to come at a very VERY high price when you look at all the good things they sacrifice.
I understand your point but compared to many zoos, where I have cried at seeing the suffering...such as Chai and Bamboo in Seattle who died of neglect, this is far better..they have large area , enrichment features, family free interactionw ith mother and aunt, they are healthy weights, they are smiling and have happy taila nd ear movement...not ideal, but much better than so many horrific enclosures and zoos where they suffer greatly and are terribly abused and neglected for profit :'(
