You will get Renshaw Regal Ice sugarpaste in most colours so that's always a good start. The airbrush is great for getting shading, but not so good when you're looking to colour the whole cake. Px
Hi, Paul, love all yours tutorials. If i want to airbrush the whole cake with silver, should i do it while the fondant is still soft or wait for some time to do it?
I am a bit new to this part of the pastry world but I will be making a wedding cake in September. The bride has requested an ombre cake of peach to white. After speaking with my Pastry Chef at work she recommended using fondant (it's an outdoor wedding) and airbrushing. Do you have any techniques or special tips that could help? Thank you!
Hey!! This is the first video of yours that i have seen and i would like to know what is the name of the stencil that you used becausei absolutly love it
Paul. I just got an airbrush machine for Xmas (Kopy Kake) and dabbling a little into cake decorating as it is my new passion. This video was very helpful. Thank you. I am planning a trip to Europe in the spring and Glasgow was going to be one of my stops....do you offer guests in your shop? I would love to learn more.
HI. Which surface of the cream can be applied with an airbrush? except fondant. I do not like . I want to airbrush on a cake covered with ganache of white chocolate theme of the galaxy ?
It's very old to me... I used to service a couple of cake decorator shop's equipment here in Sydney and had a couple pastry chiefs actually take an illustrator's airbrush course I taught. One even won a silver medal in a big Sydney Show some years ago. If you are considering this for a hobby or the odd job from your cake shop... great video. If you want to make a living...pass on this.. the computer software and cake printing systems have pretty much killed the industry. Sad too as there were some extremely talented people doing it 20 years ago.
