The child represents all the incompitent people. To say that thinking it'll be fine for the moment, home repairs or messy slip hazards, is as silly as a childs actions
My own personal advice? Don't try to use fire extinguishers. Get out, tell everyone else to get out, and call the emergency services. How do you know if the fire you think you can tackle is within your abilities? How do you know the fire extinguisher has enough capacity to tackle it? More importantly how do you know while you're tackling that little fire that there isn't a bigger fire somewhere else? Your priority should be your safety, not preventing damage to your employer's building. My two cents.
