Introduction to Compressed Air System 

In this series, we have Darren Netto our Sales and Product Specialist to introduce what makes a complete Compressed Air System. A general overview of compressors will be shown, and key features of the Screw Compressor; both Oil-Lubricated and Oil-Free will be presented.
A formula on how to measure the Actual Efficiency will be shared and we explore what benefits an inverter compressor would bring. These compressors are known as Variable-Speed-Drive or Variable-Frequency-Drive (VSD or VFD) respectively.
Other key components to complete the system; the Refrigerant or Desiccant Dryers, three stages of Filters, and the Air Receiver will be further explained on the general mechanism and how to size them accordingly to ensure optimum compressed air quality.
