Deep nodes are available both in Nuke and NukeX regarding the question in the QA section. I also have one question: would you be able to make a follow-up video on DeepMerge? DeepHoldout is no more. Instead, the new DeepMerge node has combine, holdout and plus operations now. Also, for holdout, it has a volumetric holdout know, which I would like to grasp. Thank you so much for such educational videos!
It was very helpful and informative so thank you so much...Just one small request, would love to see another tutorial on creating atmospheric volume using deep instead of depth.
Everyday I struggle with nuke there's no important tutorials, rarely we find some gold like this, thank you Sir. ❤️❤️🤗🤗😚😚 Do you have any tutorial on vray for nuke, I can't Composit 3d elements to 3d tracked footage using vray for nuke, there is no tutorial on this.😳💔
Hi Hugo, thanks so much for the video, it was really informative. I'm having a strange issue however where I can move my deep.exr on the x and y axis but not when I change the values of the z axis on the deep transform node nothing seems to happen. Do you have any idea why this might be happening? Regards
Hugo what are you thinking about the new Benq PD3220U? Its seams to have the same display and features as the sw 320. Do you know if the cainration tools is the same betwen those monitors? One supplier says the PD3220U dont save the calibration in the monitor as the sw320 does. Not sure if that is cirrect
Yes I am currently making a full review for the PD3220U. Should be out soon. The PD series do not have hardware calibration but they can still be Software calibrated.
There is alot to like about the PD3220U. Seams like Benq stepped it up to match the sw serie. Looks like it has the same 10bit panel. It also has DCI-P3 colorspace that I the sw does not have. It looks modern with thin bezels but more important it will feel much better to put two of this side by side. But the lack of hardware calibration can be dealbreaker for it. Here in sweden the PD3220U and SW320 cost the same. Im really looking forward to youre review Hugo. A side note. How often are you in eksjö to se your students? Is it twice a year or more frekvently?
@@joelarvidsson Yes the new PD is a huge step up from the old one for sure. I am also assuming a new SW will come sooner or later.. I use to teach at Campus i12 for 10 years but they decided to close the school. eksjö VFX is no more.
So that rumor I heard was true. That sucks. I only connected the dottes that you teached there 6 month ago or so. It was so cool that a place like Eksjö had such a cool education. I was just out from University of Trollhättan when they started the education in Eksjö. So I never went there. It's great you have an online education now.
i want to 2d videos change the light. İs this possible ? Lİke this: i play the guitar and record my phone. 3ds max make the concert stage and record video put this 3d concert stage but record video is maybe sunday but concert stage is night. İs this possible ?
@@HugosDesk Yea we use it at the studio aswell. One thing I like to use it for is for projection 2d elements onto cards and using deep to kinda put them in atmospheric effects (rendered with deep) like floating particles or even some atmosphere. Sometimes a quick fix without full rotomation.
Bandwidth issues? You mean to tell me you spent all of this time to learn the software to do this level of output and you cannot afford a proper internet connection? Why do it?
BenQ uses a streaming application called GoToWebinar and it broadcasts at 12fps with low quality sound. I never have issues on Twitch but always have issues on this streaming app. And btw, I have Fiber so it’s not my side. But anyway I recorded the workshop locally at 50fps and uploaded this high quality version to RU-vid. Why complain?
