I don't agree. Introduction to DSP Means: 1) Basic Definition 2) Scope 3) Market/Commercial Valuation of DSP. 4) Role of DSP in New Product Creation. 5) Salary & Placements / Freelancing / Consultation potential of DSP Specialists. I appreciate this Young Engineers Tutoring skills of DSP. Here Calculus Higher Maths & other Abstract subjects are involved......unless the students are motivated by commercial Valuation of DSP in the market, they will not take serious initiative to master DSP😅 I don't think there is a single video on RU-vid covering the above points.

Hi Lakshminarayan, I agree with you. Whatever you said is correct when it comes to a marketing class. But the intended audience for this video is engineering students looking for pure theoretical aspect. Thank you for your insights though. I'll keep this in my mind for my future videos :)

@@Topperly Commercial Evaluation & Market Potential decides the Fate of 1000s of software /hardware Languages & Technologies. Every Engineer must be aware of the Commercial Valuation & Life Cycle of Technologies which is not the Exclusive domain of Mktg guys. India has very very few Patents on DSP.....it is the Westerners who file dozens of Patents on DSPs. Our Indian Engineers must b motivated to file Exclusive product patents on DSP Use cases......not just mug up something to pass the exam....!!!

Digital signals are less affected by noise, interference and distortion. Also digital circuits are more reliable and cheap and changes in processing can easily be made with help of programming. You also get to store data for later analysis if we use Digital signals :)

We'll filter them out also. For that the pre-filter we use will be band pass filters (which we'll learn later) which are designed for removing frequencies both below 20Hz and above 20KHz :)
