@@ILGDanW I want to work on the energy recycling system rankine cycle using waste heat and renewable energy sources to produce hydrogen so on. DWSIM is can help to me for academic study ? Can we simulate thermodynamic cycle? Thank you so much... I would like to talk please

Im a third year chemical engg student doing online classes because of pandemic. I currently have a subject called CHE36 (Computer Applications in ChE). We just finished Scilab and now we're given a week to explore and practice DWSim. By far this introductory video is the most understandable and comprehensive video!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH Eng. TeeTee!

Thanks for the helpful introduction.. I'm into auto-thermal reforming of bio- ethanol to produce hydrogen. I will be happy to see more videos on ATR reforming of bio- ethanol

Whats the main difference between Aspen Hysys and Dwsim?

Hello, I would say the main difference is that DWSim is an open source software, while Aspen is a paid software, there are more property packages in Aspen Hysys and difference in presentation too, but the theory behind both simulators is largely the same. Hope this helps :)

I m working on heterogenous catalyst in biodiesel production does this software will be helpful to reduce trials in lab?

It depends on what information you would like to get from carrying out trials in the lab.

@@engineerteeteechemicalengineer I don't want to carry out trials in lab, I want to simulate the process, but the catalyst I will be using will be a solide then My process will be a heterogeneous catalysis phase .

@@hedmutonkole9756 I did a similar project on heterogenous solid catalyst for biodiesel production, I didn't use a simulation software but I used design expert to get my experiential runs and then compared to get optimal results
