Elnode is an asynchronous webserver, a little like node.js but written in Emacs Lisp. In this introduction, Nic shows installation of Elnode, it's webserver, it's wiki engine and writing and running a handler under Elnode.

Splendid stuff right there, even for those that have more or less followed the development of elnode the presentation really adds to it - the dynamic lisp stuff being particularly interesting.

Which Linux distribution? At the time I was using ArchLinux. Now I use Ubuntu. I don't find it matters much for Emacs though. I always compile it myself.

Hi nick, I am trying to install elnode using package-install but when i use the name "elnode" i get the "[no match]". Is there any issue with elnode on mamalade repository?

errr... don't think so. I just tried it and it's fine.
