Thank you Ben, I have shot percussion revolvers for years now. I have fired a flintlock but I know I have missed out on a lot of fun. Watching your channel has re-sparked my interest. I enjoy your humble presentation as you share your wisdom. Thanks again and Lord bless you.

TVM offers a full line of fully built firearms besides kits. Most any option you would want can be added. I have three coming up soon to be built.

TVM also offers in the white builds where you just do the final sanding and finish. I have an Early Virginia 54 that I finished from a kit. Great people to deal with.

I love muzzleloading. The tradition, the challenge, and the self sufficient nature of it. Thank you, and God bless.

Excellent video… I’ve told a lot of people over the years exactly what you have said here… don’t rush, do your research and make your own gear… was discussing with a new color guard member Monday for a militia persona, to go earlier with clothing and gear, as we have a local F&I site we volunteer at at times, the 1740s and 50s will still work for revwar, and 1796 state militia…

Thank you! For sure. If I had the money back from my early purchases in living history and flintlock shooting, it would be a nice chunk of change. Yes Sir, early gear is always a good option.

I recently built a Kibler southern mountain rifle kit and it is a beautiful rifle. Also, Jim Kibler is committed to customer satisfaction. I also have a 1795 Springfield musket from Heritage arms and yes, I did do some work to it like refinish the stock and antique the barrel, lock and hardware. It looks absolutely beautiful and the time I took do do all of that was not long at all. It was well worth it since the musket cost one third the price of a Pedersoli. I really enjoy your videos by the way, keep up the good work.

Thank you so much! Sounds like you have some nice firearms there. I agree, if you put in a little work on the India guns, you can have a fine weapon.

Heritage Arms is pretty much the same as the other India imports. Prices a little cheaper.

I’d love one of your handmade creations but I’m just a poor fella so watching you create is as good as I can get. Question, what is your favorite? Tough one. I fiqure, like myself, something you ‘soul’ into but I’m curious what muzzleloader catches your fancy.

Understandable Sir. I don't own any muzzleloader I've ever built, can't afford to lol! It would be hard to point to one particular thing as my favorite. I love the 1700-1785 time period and the firearms & accouterment made during that time. Thanks for watching!

Good quality functioning…. Clear and good. They ain’t the best but they shoot, and in smooth bore they will do as well as a $5000 custom

I have a Pedersoli "Bess carbine" and I absolutely love it. I spent more on it than I should have, but from my limited knowledge it is well built and definitely a good shooter. I also bought an Indian made Elliot calvary pistol, I think it's cool but the lock quality and wood doesn't compare to the Pedersoli...
@HoffmanReproductions
@HoffmanReproductions 2 года назад
Yes Sir, Pedersoli makes a nice gun. I agree, the Italian guns are set up better than the India made pieces.
