I’ve thought always that, & I might be correct, the reason why the United States never invaded Haiti, even though it occupied in from 1915 to 1934, was because of how easy & cheap the Haitian revolution made the Louisianan Purchase for the U.S.

No, it was all about theft of Haiti's gold reserves in the national bank, and large corporations like United fruit, sugar companies wanting to maintain their control in Haiti, Dominican Republic, and other countries in latin america at the time.
