see my blog at sharpologist.com Part 2 of the introduction to "Method" shaving, a discussion of how to build the shaving "mix" with different types of shaving brushes.
oh thank you for your great help. i havent seen an activator to buy anywhere. and i think my midrange Mühle brush is good. i love your videos i whatch every of them. thank you and greetings from germany
It doesn't seem like "method shaving" is a way to shave as much as it is a " method to sell these products that I invented." I watched some of the videos that the inventor posted and he seems to be extremely full of him self.
Great videos which converted me back to wet shaving about 6 months ago. Question:- in "method shaving" is it possible to build the mix using the cube, activator and shaving past in a bowl? It's just that these products are hard to get here in the UK, and doing it in the hand seemed generous indulgent with a lot of lather in the sink.
Hey Mantic, I suspect you not longer look at this but any chance we can get an update on the video using the new rag methods? As your mentioned, Method shaving is a rapid evolver :) It changes the entire process for building the mix and is much faster ime.
Excellent videos. You definitely know your stuff. Something to consider is the moisture level of the bar. The moister the bar the faster the lather. So would a new bar be in order for each brush? Just something to consider.
Dear Mantic, enchante has since discontinued production of the shavemaster brush in favour of a new shaving cloth. Would you know the closest substitute for the shavemaster brush?
