Hi there! That's a great question. The answer is that when you convert from a base 10 (or decimal) system to a base 8 (or octal) system, the numbers 0-7 represent the same values. So, instead of 10, you would use 8. Instead of 11, you would use 9, and so on. We hope this helps!
