Educational films, especially this one, were made by professors who knew how to instruct without being preachy or boring. Saw so many of these films, this is a great one. Thanks for posting.

Glad you enjoyed it, I don't think videos like this are made any longer. I remember enjoying videos like this and Carl Sagan's cosmos when I was kid.

I’m feeling nostalgic for my time in school. When the explanation of a subject is enhanced with real world practical experiments, my brain turned into a sponge and that’s pretty darn exciting stuff.

I've always found disappointing that most videos teaching you something, there are many great ones on youtube, don't get many views while silly ones are very successful. An image of our society.

Fabulous film and lecture. Often the best way to teach basics is through some of these early educational films, as long as the science content is still valid. This is a great one. Thanks for uploading...😊

@@diyextravaganza I was quite intrigued by Elbert Little. Turns out that Alfred Eisenstaedt of Life Magazine did an extensive photo shoot of Elbert and his rather large family in 1959. You can see the pictures on Shutter Stock's website; a search for "Elbert P Little" will find them there
