Hey friends! We are very excited to begin our February food challenge in just a few days. This is a collaboration that everyone is welcome to join and participate in to the best of their abilities. The only ones that we expect to follow the rules perfectly is ourselves!! Though I didn’t mention it in this video, Glen and I have already spent some of our $50! We purchased 5 items to consume during February. Can you guess the 5 items? 🤔 Please leave your guesses below. 🏆 Please follow along on our Facebook and Instagram pages for our daily menu. Thanks for your support. Take care, Annette 🌺 ***I forgot to mention yeast in our included items…. We have been making sourdough for so long that we don’t even use yeast right now! 😂🤣🤦♀️
We're looking forward to the challenge and to see how we do. With the destruction of the garden last year, it'll be important to see what we still have from two summers ago! Good luck Annette & Glen! We know you'll do great!
Thanks Rich! I know it will seem much harder for you this year given the huge produce loss you faced with the summer storms. Wishing you guys the best!
A super challenging Challenge! Looking forward to following how you progress and how much you will end up spending by end of February. Have a happy and blessed week! ❤
Hey Annette! This is great! We are not participating but will enjoy watching all of the videos from this collaboration! The lessons learned are so helpful! 😊👍💗
I like the new hairstyle Annette! What a clever idea to dehydrate tomato slices. My mind immediately went to a drink garnish, but do you just eat them like chips?
Thanks so much Theresa! 🥰 We do eat the tomato slices like chips, though they aren’t really crunchy. They are little umami bombs for sure. On top of a drink would be so awesome. Take care! 🌺
I would love to participate but we are not set up for it. I would like to reclaim some of my acreage to start growing fruits and veggies again. But then I look at the huge trees and shake my head! haha! Good luck with the challenge.
