Hello Sir, the series of lectures are just amazing. Thank you, could you share some material related to the Tem derivation based on stator variables, as mention at 39:00
Dear Sir, In the previous example of circuit transformation in qdo frame, we found that q axis and d axis inductances stay the same(Ls-Lm). But in this case, we are seeing that Lq and Ld might be different. Is it due to the effect of rotor flux linkage on stator windings? In the previous example, we just did a simple circuit transformation, without considering rotor flux linkage. But in this case, we are considering rotor flux like an actual PMSM.
This is because of the saliency effect. See this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jZvOLq7G0Tc.html I mention this around minute 16. Essentially your inductance matrix is not diagonal in the salient case.
i saw a large 1.8MW diesel generator and it's rotor consist of permanent magnet. is it new trend sir? i also heard that, new EV after 2018 also trend to the PMSM.
