Question: If you were to attach an air hose to the bottom of the tank that blew air into the tank...how much air pressure would be needed?

Which container has the largest pressure at the bottom? If they have different shapes and they carry different amounts of water????

By using lever and gear box we can use atmospheric pressure for making electriity at large scale near any waterbodies, for poor people in India we can help this way, for developing this idea we can do work together, this model work at any planet of the univers where atmospheric pressure existing and liquid existing?

If the density of the fluid was different would the head still be 2m or does this change according to the density or is head just the actually total height. Thanks

like he showed in the video you can also write it as P = rhogPh

Hello Bro..May I ask something about Pressure because I am confusing. A 5' tall water tank is at high of 15' from the ground. From the lowest side of it to the ground, I set up 2" PVC pipe. what is water velocity at the end side on the ground? Head pressure ( about 8.66 PSI ) is called Velocity? ............... with regards..

If we use an inverted drum in water , so the water goes inside it when atmospheric pressure goes increasing or not, I personally see this feature during the rainey season, so we can use this phenomenon in making the electricity at very large scale ✌✌✌✌

Can I get help with this question for my assessment? Calculate the pressure measured in bars which is required to exert a force of 49050 N (5000 kg) by the hydraulic cylinder on the cylinder extension stroke. Cylinder radius is 0.075m Round your answer to the nearest bar. Formula: Pressure = force/area Note: Requires cross sectional area formula pi π = 3.14 1 bar = 100 kPa

okay so i know im missing part of the equation or something but at 4:20 why would you add the 33.5 ft of H2O to the 15 feet of H2O? if at 33.5 feet the pressure is 1 bar, and hes at 15 feet, wouldnt you divide 15 by 33.5 to find the ratio of the original proportion and multiply that by the 1 bar to get how many bars you have? head pressure = 15ft H2O 15ft/33.5ft = (0.448/1)* 1 Bar = 0.448 bar = 44.78 KPa

In this case you have calculated the head pressure (below the surface of the water) in bars. To find the total pressure, you still need to add in the atmospheric pressure (P=P_0 + P_h). When you add 1 bar (P_0), you will have the correct answer.

The portion of this explanation dealing with force against container bottom, while valid for a cylinder, is not valid for a narrowing-toward-the-opening container as it is based on the centuries-old presumption that all fluids act the same, i.e., liquids act as gases with respect to pressure applied being transferred throughout. With a gas this is true and is facilitated by the property of compressibility. For example, by decreasing or increasing the amount of a gas in a rigid container, the internal (gaseous) pressure in a container is decreased or increased, respectively, and this change in the number of molecules results in a corresponding change in the pressure exerted by the gas against the container walls. Thus, this link between gaseous pressure and the pressure exerted by the gas against the container walls is accomplished (facilitated) by the characteristic of compressibility. But a liquid is not compressible and thus there is no means by which the pressure exerted by a liquid against its container walls can be similarly linked to the liquid's internal pressure. Therefore, the hydrostatic paradox which states a liquid can exert a force against the bottom of a container that exceeds its weight is false, therefore the physics explained in the video is wrong. For more details see my video titled Elementary Hydrostatics at my channel.

This does not account for the air pressure inside your ear on the inside of your ear drum.

i did not found this video understandable. you are just reading the paragraphs.. no concept at all.If you want to teach Pressure Head you should break pressure and Head apart from the whole term and make it understand to people then structured them. DON'T SAY PRESSURE HEAD IS A PRESSURE HEAD WE SAY THIS AND THAT......................................) DON'T MIND IT

Put a very very very very very very very very big turbine in it 👌which required one crore litre of water💧💦 to move so we got a very very very very huge torque every day And million of joules⚡⚡⚡ of mechanical👌 energy⚡ we got by that turbine rotation Now a very very good👍 source of energy⚡ become possible🙊🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
