WGEN_Robit file is missing in the dataset. Instead I used the file "WGEN_Robit_stat" which has fewer number of fields, which causes issues in the later steps when defining "Weather Generater Data"
Hello Sir. Thank you for the elaborate tutorials on QSWAT3 Model. I was able to follow up to the delineation of watershed. However, when creating the HRUs, whenever I select Soil Map, the ..hdr.adf formats automatically changes to _clif.tif, check the path: C:\QSWAT3_64_Project\Robit_watershed\Demo\Source\soil\mowr_soil90_clip.tif. And running it in this format results in an area. Please help.
Hello I have a question. What is the exact meaning of soil type? for example you mean it is clay or sand or .... we must have Soil characteristics like conductivity? Im working on a project that Im not accessing the soil properties. can I use this model? Im working on Australian forest
It would have to be a grid (raster) format. You would need to rasterize your polygons and make sure they're in the correct projection before using in SWAT.
Thank you for this tutorial. I had a question: I only have a georeferenced shapefile version of the soil classification of the area I am modelling. What would be the best way to create the "usersoil" .xlsx file that will be inserted into the database?
You'll need to create a new soil type inside the soil database, and add ALL the parameters (needed by the model). Fot the land use, you'll need to classify each use as one of SWAT default types (or as close as it can be). I think you could also create your own landuse categories, but they all need a lot of parameters to fill in.
