I remember on my last CFI checkride I presented this lesson and I covered everything that you covered. The examiner issued a notice of disapproval stating that my teaching of this maneuver was not clear, concise, complete and technically accurate. I ask him what wasn’t even technically accurate about this and he pointed of the terms that I was using did not establish an accurate description of the spin. The main reason was that some of my terminology wasn’t out of the PHAK and AFH. (It was still correct). He also stated I didn’t use adequate instructional aids. To add he has me present two lessons from the FOIs. Never heard of any examiner requiring that. After prodding the flight school I discovered that no other CFI initial applicant pass their check ride with him.

Hello! Thank you for sharing about your challenging experience with this checkride. It can be frustrating when circumstances like this make the process more difficult, especially when you’ve put in the effort to have a successful examination. Your dedication to preparing for this checkride is commendable, and we are sorry to hear that the outcome didn’t reflect your efforts and knowledge. Our videos are here to help students understand various concepts, refresh their knowledge, and increase their confidence going into exams and checkrides. If you have any concerns or if there’s anything we can assist you with moving forward, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!

@@flyaeroguard update: when an instructor signs a candidate off for a checkride, the instructor picks the examiner. I’ve spoken with CFIs who had their candidates fail with examiners who they didn’t know.

great job explaning

Thank you for this! But to my understanding the yawing doesn't make one wing receive more airmass but it increases the airspeed on the outer wing and thus makes the lift increase as it is a part of the lift formula. Is this correct or did I get it wrong?

What if it were a power on stall, would you put the engine to idle first?

can large aircrafts go into a spin?
@flyaeroguard
@flyaeroguard Год назад
Yes, they can! Spins are an aerodynamic principle and are not reliant on weight and size. However, some small aircraft are certified to spin and are utilized for training purposes.

A little off subject, but can you make a video talking about proper radio traffic and etiquette. Thanks

We sure can! Be sure to visit ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JsoOlXNaJmc.html to check out our latest video, "Radio Calls in Controlled and Uncontrolled Airspace". Thanks for your feedback!

Not quite ..?! the video title says “spin recovery doesn’t say about what to do before you enter/cause the spin He also explains why we spin and in what circumstances therefore when you spin accidentally you don’t have time to do the radio checks. If you think you can do a better video Ionians post one I’ll let us know here will follow you instead but from your attitude I can tell you’re barely able to fly the Airplane if that🙄 Take it easy man aviation is a very humble industry ! don’t show off .,,,it will bite your back. ALWAYS!
