SPSS is a statistical software for data analysis, and was first packaged in 1968 as “Statistical Package for the Social Sciences”. It is however now regarded as “IBM®SPSS®Statistics” since 2009 when it was acquired by IBM. But, regardless of the name change, the features and function has remained unchanged.
