Introduction to the ArcGIS API for Python 

In this tutorial we are going to be introducing you to the ArcGIS API for Python.
API - An application programming interface (API) is a computing interface that defines interactions between multiple software intermediaries. It defines the kinds of calls or requests that can be made, how to make them, the data formats that should be used, the conventions to follow, etc.
First of all, we will show you another alternative which you can use especially for those that have been texting and asking for another way since they do not have ArcGIS Pro Licenses in order to keep track and practice.
We will be using the API within Jupyter Notebooks which is basically the same as doing this within ArcGIS Pro but the only difference is that within ArcGIS Pro we do not have to download these packages like what we are going to be doing in this tutorial.
However, I'd like to state that you can register for a free trial license on the ArcGIS platform and get to trial out the ArcGIS license for about 60-days. That should be enough to learn much of the basic stuff which we are going to be covering throughout this series.
