how do I get a list of folders. {{ControlRoomURL}}v2/repository/folders/ this call results in Error 404 Not Found. other calls work fine, in my control room I see folders Automation Anywhere\\Bots\\Sample bots\\ under Public and Private menu items Great video by the way, learned a lot from this. also my company purchased the enterprise edition 2019, 7 licenses and I have my control room in the AAI cloud not on premise

When i call control room authentication api using rest api in AA, it generates token but it gets logged out from tool. and using that token , not able to call control room API's successfully. could you please suggest how to overcome this problem?
If you're just using a single login (same user for the CR UI & CR API), there can only be one active session, so a new token would be generated every time you log into the UI or API, and you would be logged out of the other session.
You may need to use something like the Google Authenticator API, reading an email code or a Google Voice number (dependent on how the MFA authentication is done for the app you're working with)
Hi Silpa. If you're using Automation 360 on-prem, you should be able to backup the directory, which stores your bots, directly from the CR file system. If you're using Automation 360 Cloud, your best bet is to export bots using the Control Room API or a Bot Store package like this one: botstore.automationanywhere.com/bot/a2019-export-import-multiple-bots

A user would need role(s) that inlcude View my bots, Export Bots, Import Bots (at least on the target env), and access to the specific target directories as defined by the Bots tab of the role itself. With these permissions in place, using the Control Room API would be one of the easiest ways to migrate code from one environment to another.

The API for V.11 is similar but slightly different in the request body. Open a browser session and navigate to your Control Room with /swagger/ to see all of the information about the body format.
Can you please tell me how to fetch the credential from vault and pass it to this authentication API to get authentication instead of passing the hardcoded username and password ?
Hi Aswath. You're required to be authenticated before you can fetch values from the Credential Vault. As an alternative, consider authenticating via API key to access Credential Vault.

Hi Eduardo! It's for sure possible - you have two options: in your POST call to CR API to execute the bot, you can provide a callback URL (webhook) that values marked as Output would be sent back to. Alternatively, you could create your own web service to receive calls from a bot that makes a REST call at the end of its execution - formatting the data however you need.

Yes...most all of the API endpoints are available in Community Edition. I say most because your capabilities with the API are controlled by your role, and the role for users in Community Edition doesn't include EVERY capability...but for sure enough of the endpoints for you to test some things out.

@@veeresh4441 What do you mean by "input to a bot"? Triggering a bot from the Control Room (shown in the other Control Room API video) is not possible in Community Edition as it requires a Bot Runner license to use. The API endpoints I showed in this video though should be mostly available - logging in, repository management features, seeing user account details, etc...as those kinds of API calls correspond to actions that Community Edition users already have access to via the Control Room UI.

Total Run time is the total time that bots have been executing for the provided time period. Total Bot Runs is the summation of total bot executions (for the provided time period). Volume is the count of total executions per day broken down by successful and unsuccessful executions.
Hello. We don't have a postman for V11, though many of the endpoints are similar if not the same. Absent of postman, add /swagger/ to the end of your control room URL to see the Swagger documentation for all of the available endpoints.
In the URL for the A2019 postman collection -Bot insight APIS are not there? Why ? how to access Bot Insight APIS either in Swagger or Postman can yo help me?
