Lohbado provides a book lover's overview of The Unnammable, with a few words about context and structure. It begins with a preamble, a narrator sitting rigid, without eyelids. Tears flow in a constant stream to keep his eyes from drying out and maybe to allow him to have a clear and distinct view of whatever passes within his field of vision.
He hears voices, has a task to complete, to keep speaking until no longer compelled, to go on, even though he felt as though he couldn't go on. He imagines company, and stories. Mahood tells two lively stories, about a return to the family fold and about a head in a jar. This dissolves into a long section regarding Worm.
