Ya sheikh I want to be taught the Quran by you....... living in The Gambia going to school and learning the Quran at the same time is being very difficult for me. I want to give up everything that is of going to school for the Quran. And I want it to be you sheikh
Assalaam Alaekum sheikh, i love your class, Jazaakumullahu khaeran…i will love to join you there , and i want to be Haafith of the qura’n too if you can help me with that🙏
May Allah preserve shaykh. How true is the statement in 23:54 about the salaf reciting qur'an 8 times a day. There are 24 hours in a day. I belive it's true but I'm just curious. They must have been very fast while reading it
If you can then that is good. The more Quran you recite the better. But try to find a consistent routine which you can easily stick to as our prophet told us the most beloved deeds to Allah are those which are consistent even if they are small.
Assalamou alaikoum, please what is the best way for me to help me memorize Quran !!! I really want to memorize as much as possible, so from your experience can you lead me to the best way please May Allah thank you his way
Wa alaykum as salaam... Shaykh Okasha's videos on this topic ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9BTaNQehoq0.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MVc0q3hp0oI.html Personally I would give the following tips... 1- Stick with the same Mus-haf(I.e copy of the Qur'aan), whether it's a 15 line Qur'aan or 13 line or 16 etc 2- Stick with the same teacher if possible, someone whose tajweed is good 3- Respect the Qur'aan to the best of your ability and everything related to it... Ie Qur'aan stand, the cover, the teacher, the place etc... The more love and respect you give, the more beneficial it is for you 4- When reciting the Qur'aan, try to recite in a tune which affects your heart, which connects with you and beautify it... Whether it's from listening to a qari on phone or in a certain masjid.... Do not let the laughs and words of people let you down... 5- Start with small portion and with time gradually increase it... But remember the more time u spend reciting and revising the new lesson, the more stronger and deep its gonna be in memory 6- Recognise which time in the day u efficiently memorise the lesson... Which time is easier for you... Generally scholars/teachers recommend before sleeping... When waking up in the morning (either before/at/or after fajr salah).... And after maghrb 7- From time to time check ur intentions and purpose... Why are u doing it... Who are u doing it for... Sincerity etc 8- Set a personal target... This date i will reach this surah... By that date i will reach that juz(para/sparah) etc 9- Keep urself motivated by listening/reading the benefits of Memorisation of the Holy Qur'aan... Story of memorisers in the past... How the Qur'aan improves the quality of life of the person who sticks to it... By reading it/ understanding it/ acting upon it/ preaching it 10- Do not let the negative comments of people demotivate u... Stay firm and ignore useless comments... It's not easy.... But it can be made easy with dua, dedication and the help of Allah... 11- Avoid sins, try to slowly decrease the level of sins u commit.... Obviously not asking u to commit in the first place, but if ur addicted or used to it then slowly slowly avoid it... Try spending more time with something useful 12- When on the verge of quitting, take advice from teachers or those people who are close to u... Parents, siblings, friends(who are also Huffaaz/hafiz) 13- Shaaytan and ur nafs will tempt u not to do it saying its hard or ur not meant for it... Or if uve memorised it, he will make u forget it by distracting u from revising what u've put to memory and making u do something else instead... Seek protection of ur lord from him ie Taawwudh 14- Make a routine to revise what uve memorised other than ur time in Masjid/madrasa Hope these tips are useful.... May Allah make this journey easier for all those who are on it... May he make us among true protectors of the Qur'aan... May He forgive our mistakes.... Aameen
