Learning programming in college right now and I do not understand why lecturers cannot describe what is happening in the loop the way you just did. Explaining the logic of it as you go through just cemented it in my brain where as I was just trying to remember the "rules" without it clicking. Thanks

if index start at 0, then int a[2][3] should have created 3 rows and 4 columns, right ? why not? why its like this- when we create 2D array we don't consider index 0 while specifying its dimensions and when we use it we have to consider index 0 weird syntax and this part is missing from explaination. Why they decided makes simple things complicated like this? Great video anyways.

Hello, You have connfused rows with columns each time when explaining. Rows are the upper sequence and columns are lower. But you keep on calling rows columns i don't know why
@worstbuffs9189
@worstbuffs9189 3 года назад
Doesn't make sense to say it is an Array of A[x][y] because rows are put first but that is the y axis and column is put into the second bracket which is x-axis. It should be A[y][x]

if you initialise an array size of 5 for example its actually six 6 blocks not 5. In C you zero index hence the first block would be arr[0].
