Prof. Rajesh Prasad is genius and the way he delivers is always interesting. Very rare faculties are there in IITs like Prasad sir.

Adding a pinch of history makes any any subject ( even stories) more enjoyable and gets tuned in the mind. The same technique is followed in great puranas and holybooks

Please HELP !! How many planes would contribute, if we have monochromatic beam incoming with fixed angle on a single crystal? Is it just 1(blue) or other planes like the (red) one at 17:28 ?

As 100 is peak corresponding to waves reflected from planes having spacing a and path difference lamda . then what about 010 or 001 . How will we differentiate these three types of planes. Does we get different peak position .

sit at 44:45 minutes , you have put different theta nomenclature but earlier you mentioned that theta will not change with order of reflection

great sir, sir how we diffrenciate the peak of alpha prime martensite and ferite. both have theeta value same, have any technique to diffrenciate them

Sir it may not be 1750s because Hooke died by 1703 and Kepler was much older early 1600 s
