I genuinely believe that in the near future cats will increasingly fast evolve to talk.. I mean, they are constantly exposed to humans and they eat high quality food which wasnt available in nature before... And we also breed them selectively.
@@backslash538 well yes, I worded that wrong, but what I meant to say is that catching and eating raw prey doesn't provide enough energy and nutrients for brain to develop like it did in humans. It takes a lot of sugars from various plants, which cats are exposed to because humans are feeding them leftovers. Cooking food was the turning point for humans because it allowed tough fibers to be broken down instead of just going through the gut and sugars to get absorbed. Also oils released during cooking are important because they allow for various oil soluble nutrients to be absorbed. What I meant to say is that that food might not be too natural for a cat, but its a pathway to new evolution.
@johnnymcgeez5647 we've been keeping them for thousands of years and they still can't really talk and aren't sentient. It would be awesome if that happened though!
🐱 Cute! I’m a volunteer at a veterinarian. Here’s a few tips for longer life: Cut back on dry cat food. it can cause urinary blockage, and kidney disease, over time, especially for male cats. Upgrade your cat food quality. Purina One canned and dry, is a good brand. Most cat food brands are low quality, thats why you pay less. 🐈 Coyote attacks on Outdoor cats and traffic fatalities are on the rise, so keep your cat Indoors. 🐾 If you have a senior cat, bring it in for a full senior blood panel. it’s a quick, easy way to assess its basic all around health, while its still early. Our cats can live healthier & longer. 🐱
Well the vet insisted on selling me dry food because it was special diet but still my lovely cat is gone... (it's even better if you cook the food that your cat loves❤)
Thankyou for the good information. I had a cat she was 19 years old and she could talk, simple one syllable words like 'yeah no what why' but it didn't sound like this cat, she sounded like a cat trying to meow simple words. That's why I think this video is a fake voice over. Funny but fake. But make no mistake, cats are very intelligent and are evolving fast from living with us. I love my cats so much! The 19 year old cat is passed on to the rainbow bridge but now I have another talking cat she's six years old and she can also meow some simple words and seems to know what they mean.
The "What's going on here?" part sounds more like "What's the matter with you?" and "Who's talking to me?" sounds more like "Let's all go together!" Either way, it's very creepy that a cat can already vocalise so clearly almost like a human.
I would love a talking cat. I bet they're better company than most humans. As for the talking, if certain birds can imitate human speech, I believe other animals are capable of it as well.
