Now if you mean by "socializing" is hanging out with the only 2 people we ever talk to, sure we "socialize." But if you mean socializing in the popular term, yes, sometimes we are forced to do it especially if we are working a 9-5 job. But same with the fish, yeah you can pull it out of the water for a few minutes, possibly an hour, but it would be unpleasant, and you eventually have to put it back in the water. Now, if you say "I'm an introvert/I know an introvert. We aren't like that" then it means you or that person isn't an introvert, you/ that person is an ambivert, which make sense because 90% of the people are ambiverts.
@@thefiringsquadtfs6392 When i’m not alone, I love to socialize with people, but it drains the hell out of me. This still makes me an introvert. Too many people use the term “introvert” as an excuse to be asocial, and that’s just a shame
I gave myself three hours for the prom because I like the boy and we're both introverts. We spent the entirety of prom in a corner debating over who the worst Webtoon characters are.
Im 20 and my grandmother still texts me at 8pm saying “its getting late” 8:30 “come home its nighttime” 9 “come home” 10 “its late” 11 “its now 11, come home” 12…. 1…. 2…. 3….. (legally they cant do shit ;;)) so i stay out but i still get pounded with texts from her)
Being an introvert can be different for other people. As an introvert myself, yes I do have friends, but it’s a really small friend group. Yes I do socialize, but I’d rather be alone
Being introverted usually means that social activities and/or seing a lot of people are exhausting. It doesn't mean that all of us do not go out i have the sweetest best friend and i really love her
Man, one of the hardest things I’ve had to do when visiting someone, or hanging out, is making my excuses to gtfo. Sitting there all quiet and self-conscious, and wanting to leave so damn bad, but unable to speak up or make my excuses. So I just don’t hang out with anyone anymore, ever.
As an introvert, this is a great hack. And the laugh in the end was SO GOOD. But honestly, sometimes it's better not to go anyways. But minus that if your parents forces you to go 😭😭
I was at a party and made the ringtone match the sound of my alarm. So I made a timer for 1:4 hour to go. I said it was a family emergency and left Felt lowkey bad tho after

i be like "let me ask my mother" and my mother wants me to socialize just not with my friends so when it's other people i tell her "i don't want to go" and she's like "fine" comes up with an excuse so i don't have to:'3
What I do is I set an alarm sometime during the party and I set the sound to a phone sound and pretended it’s my parents picking me up or needing something 😃
I'm introvert but even i have to go out and enjoy life at some point bc it srsly gets boring and lonely all alone. But lmao this is how i make excuse when my energy finally runs out for good, my little sister has been doing this call thing for me for years and thankfully it still works😂😂
