Can you imagine being the type of person who has victims? I wonder what George Floyd's victims think walking around seeing monuments, murals and statues of him.
@@bung1029 Tragic George Floyd's death was and the cop really should have gotten life in prison. But true to what you say and unknown to a lot of folks, it is a bit obscene to have monuments of him and even the " gentle giant" Michael Brown from Ferguson Missouri paraded and tooted up as decent respectable guys - Because both of them weren't at all if you examine the facts on them - which most folks don't. Neither were the kind of folks decent people with common sense would have associated with or allowed their children to be around.
Castle doctrine was a thing in every state long before "stand your ground." The latter usually pertains to public areas where you used to have a duty to retreat before using force. Nearly all states agreed that you don't have a duty to retreat from your own home. But, going by this story, I don't think the woman would've even had a chance to escape, hence it is definitely a cut-and-dried self-defense case.
Dads from the old school just knew - And my dad always said: "If you think you're tough, wait 'till you meet the person who's tougher.... and the more you look, the faster you WILL find him". *same lesson just different angle/ (I loved to fight but I did find him, 17 stitches in my noggin)
How the news guy could say the intruder was on his way to an anger management class without breaking into laughter shows how EXTREMELY well disciplined he is.
I am in Ireland, we now deal with a huge heroin problem which has just surfaced these last few years. ( house burglaries are the norm with addicts looking money), I have cameras but no guns. We are not allowed to have a gun in the North of Ireland. I think every family should be allowed a hand gun for protection. We don't need automatic assault rifles just a hand gun.
So true. This story could have been another statistic. I am relieved that she was able to protect herself and her children because only death (or permanent incarceration) would stop him from hurting them.
@dakota haro of course let's justify him kicking in the door and grabbing a knife 🗡️ the audacity of some folks and we wonder why this country is the way it is still to this day..
@dakota haro all the comments are racially charged on top of the media mislead here. This suggests random black men with anger issues kicking in doors. Smh Them killing us for asking for asking directions and selling (calmly) door to door is the real goal here.
True, but automatic high-powered rifles should not be covered in that 2nd amendment. Like the guy in Maine at the bowling alley. They said it was a hunting rifle. Well, if you are such a sh*tty shot that you can't shoot an unarmed deer with out a clip in a gun then you should take up knitting.
@@macforme Citizens can't get fully automatic rifles, idk where you got that from. An AR-15 is semi-automatic, meaning only 1 bullet is fired per trigger pull, much like any pistol that isn't a revolver.
If he was angry enough to kick in the door, he was angry enough to kill her. She taught him the final lesson in anger management. No more restraining order needed, no more fear on her part. She can sleep well tonight.
@Escaped Away They were his children... clearly he was targeting her for stealing his children and house. That's the only thing that explains a man so fueled by rage that he admits himself to anger management classes. Courts that throw men under the bus and separate them from their children are to blame.
well they need to investigate what happened , I don't think the home owner was justified in shooting this guy , it seems like a dispute rather than a random break-in , I would have shoot him in the leg , I wouldn't call the police because the police would probably kill the guy or make the situation worse so I would not call the cops because it would just make everything worst , they need to investigate why the guy was so angry , this did not seem like a random break-in , it was clearly a dispute , the guy trying to break in clearly had mental problems , I would not have killed him , this culture of shoot to kill needs to stop . This is why I support stronger gun laws , that women did not need a rifle to defend herself , people that advocate for relaxed gun laws are either racist or they are living in the past , the same way we legalized same sex marriage which I support , we should also ban all weapons that pose a danger to the public
@@sinabagherisarvestani8924 shooting someone in the leg...they are very likely to bleed out from that. Also you shoot until the threat is gone shooting someone is the leg would not always take out the threat
On his way to an anger management class? I’d say she completed that class for him with one shot. Good job, lady. You saved the taxpayers a ton of money.
are you kidding me? Ask George Zimmerman after Trayvon Martin tried to smash his head into the concrete sidewalk. It's all about the protected minority....
Come on, we all know she was 100% in the right, but hindsight is 20/20, before they reviewed the footage this could have been a drug deal gone bad, a murder, an unlawful use of deadly force, they HAVE to investigate.
@@patrickm6012 Yes, I am aware of where this is taking place. I was simply inidcating what in my city could occur and I believe that the commenter understood that.
@@dmvbay2535 if you're still having outbursts like that at 52, hell even over 30, I feel like anger isnt your problem and it has more to do with intelligence and emotional maturity. I was diagnosed as bipolar with psychotic features when I was 19. Tried prozac, zoloft and a couple other prescriptions whose names escape me at the moment. Nothing worked and all of them would just intensify whatever mood I woke up with. By my mid 20s and without a single pill, I had got my anger and outbursts completely under control. The best prescription for me was my 2 kids. I chose to stop acting like a child having a hissy fit, just like the man in this video, that's all hes doing, so my children wouldnt see their dad acting that way.
Some people are raised being perpetually victims. They never have to be held accountable for their actions because of the media and because of society standards so they get away with this stuff their whole life and never learn. True story
@@joshcanttakeajoke2853 That's easy to say but I've seen grown men, men older that this dude continue to act crazy until they got more treatment. The problems are compounded with drug use, financial problems, family instability and just no proper or ample support to help alleviate the problems in time. It's easy for me and you to say what he should have done but we don't know the extenuating circumstances that perpetuated his responses leading up to his demise.
@@joshcanttakeajoke2853 I commend your efforts. But let's remember, your story is your story. Your mind and body are yours and not everyone can just "change". Should there be change? Of course. Some learn an easier way while others, like that man, learn the hard way. Most people are in between in a grey area. Also, aggressive anger doesn't always show in so directly. Most people are passive aggressive and push buttons but look super calm. They push buttons and the person reacting can look "crazy".
@@PlaAwa congratulations. Your comment is the dumbest I have read all day. I don't even need to explain why, because it's just that stupid. Even the "scott free" is stupid. It's "scot free".
He was 54 and acting like this? A child suppose to learn how to behave control anger and emotions. If you didnt learn that till 54 give up, amazing he lived that long
I’m glad this woman and her family are safe. It’s unfortunate that it came to this. Some people are their own worst enemy God I pray that you will keep every woman and child safe from monsters like this🙏🏻♥️

@@shalltear4285 Thankfully I dont live there than. Lol. Someone comes through my door violently I shoot to kill. I recommend all other Americans to do the same
Luckily, the woman did it herself, and not calling the police. If so, and if he was killed by a police officer, especially a white police officer, the state will go into hell, such as rioting's, killings and destroying properties and his family will most likely be awarded millions, and the officer most likely be charged for murder.
@@DeRothschiId as someone who's dad tried to kill my family when I was 8 or 9, I can say that most mothers can't kill their husband doing this if the guy has already abused her in the past. What this mom did was extremely brave and more if it was her husband
Thank God she realized that an injunction is just a piece of paper, and for real protection, she needed a gun. Paper is pretty thin when it is all that stands between you and a crazed guy with a knife.
@Mikhail ANDREEV even if this was your dad, then why would you be here reading these comments, it’s obvious nobody is going to be putting anything heartwarming about this topic...
I was totally waiting for “the man was shot several times and later died at the hospital from his wounds.” Not “the man was shot in the head and died on scene.” Someone has been putting in her time on the firing range!
I used to work with some ex cops/COs doing armored car work, and they told me precision shots like that can work against you in the fucking courts. They told me if you mag dump someone that lends to the "i was terrified and feared for my life and just kept pulling that trigger", but it you ice someone with one perfect shot it looks like you were cool and had the time to premeditate the shooting and wasn't terrified for your life
I agree that she should never be charged but there's always that initial "you shot someone? okay we have to place you in cuffs while we figure this shit out"
Exactly hes literally breaking an entry and people are questioning her? Im questioning the people questioning her, cus I would wana be able to defend myself if someone was trying to break into my house.

Like that piece of paper really meant something to him yet to be a stupid fool to believe in stuff like that restraining order That's probably what made him mad and go after anyway. She did the right thing She saved her lies her children live and maybe somebody else In the future she certainly did society a favour I don't know Why people seem to think we need to keep somebody This guy alive.
