I am a indigo adult with all 17 characteristics. I struggled to understand the world as a child. I did not understand that people typically do not “feel” at the same level I do. I became a social worker and worked in hospice care for 13 yrs before suffering a traumatic breakdown. Thanks for spreading more understanding on this subject. The more people understand about themselves… the better we can use our tools as catalysts for change ❤

When we didn’t understand neurodivergence 20- 30 years ago, we labeled all neurodivergent kids who didn’t fit the diagnostic criteria (did it even exist?) as indigo children. I’m sure they grew up to be HSP, and perhaps eventually got diagnosed with autism or ADHD or both. Signed, a former HSP, now diagnosed AuDHDer

In 1953 (age 3 yrs old) my grandma (who was born in 1890 in Norway and came to America in 1910) explained to me that I was an Indigo child, and she gave me tips on how to get thru life. I obtained my first PhD when I was 14 (1964), and the list of all great things continues. Being Indigo is not a New Age thing. I was diagnosed with ADHD before the term ever existed. My grandma said that being ADHD only meant my Attention was Dialed to a Higher Dimension. I could go on and on, but won't. I love your show, when I get a chance to watch it. Be healthy, stay safe and many blessings, Morgan PS 17/17

Oooooof….. this smacked me like a ton of bricks… I remember my mom reading up on this when I was a kid and I didn’t know why, but I was the black sheep of the abusive cycle and I was the youngest out of my siblings and the first one who was like “oh… no this isn’t gonna work for me” 🤣 and proceeded to break every stigma and expectation my family had for me 🙃 my grandma was just like this too.

I prefer loan Wolf over black sheep. Sheep are followers and I've been the cycle breaker in my family when it comes to abusive relationships. I moved out of home at 15. Growing up, in the 80s I was one of only a few living in a single parent household. My parents divorced when I was 18 months old, and my mum had been my primary caregiver, my dad thinking he could do a better job at raising me, kept me away from my mum for 3 months. My mum had witnessed physical abuse between her parents, so of course has her own mental health issues, which involved drug and alcohol abuse and me never knowing what mood my mum was going to be in and also witnessing her boyfriend after my Dad, being physical with her for 2 years. To cut a long story short, my childhood can't be explained as a happy one, hence moving out of home at 15. I was a mother at 2 months off 17 and when my son was 5 months old, I left his father, who was physically, emotionally, socially and financially, abusive towards me, and despite everyone thinking that I'd reconcile with him, I didn't as it meant far more to me that my son had a better life than that. I left the father of my younger 2 boys for similar reasons. He abused alcohol and drugs and when drunk would be verbally abusive towards me, so I kicked him out and have raised my 2 youngest boys on my own for the last 11 years. Not once did I move back home, but this is the 3rd time my mother has lived with me and it's been 12 years. She still self-medicates and puts me down, despite my leaving school at 15, and now having 2 diplomas and a bachelor degree to my name. I'm the only 1 in my family who has gone to University and the only one seeing a therapist to heal my childhood wounds, which are constantly being ripped open by my 3 parents (mum, dad and step mum who married my dad when I was 4, I'm now 46, you'd think after 42 years she'd class me as family wouldn't you?) I know it's because I scored 17/17 that I'm doing what needs to be done, in order to live an authentic life with purpose and meaning. I've got a Bachelor in Social Work, Diploma in Youth work and Diploma in Community Services. I'm a ThetaHealing, Compassion Key and Sound Healing Practitioner and a Breathless Breathwork Instructor. I'm highly intuitive, empathic and sensitive on all levels and I'm learning to give myself compassion and understanding, which is hard when you've never received from any parent. Geez, I didn't intend for this to be a mini bibliography. I know my story isn't unique, and for all of you Indigo/HSP/CPTSD/Neurodivergent/ Highly intuitive empathic souls, the world needs more people like us, who accept a person holistically and have time to be there for others, coz we know what it's like to suffer alone. Celebrate your weirdness and embrace standing out from the crowd. The reason youve never fitted in, is because you werent meant to blend in with the crowd, you wete meant to shine. People are drawn to us because we are authentic, and authenticity vibrates at the highest frequency. People admire us because we won't compromise our values in order to fit in and it's fear of being alone that holds them back from authenticity and living a life with meaning

Again with the ADHD… anyone want to back me up that ADHD IS often related to many of these traits and people can have both a psychiatric disorders and such metaphysical phenomenon ….it is a highly researched reality for many actual psychiatric disorders … there is unbelievable bias however. Indigo child was never meant to be derogatory or negative. I don't associate unruliness or distraction or hyperactivity or disobedience absolutely whatsoever with this. That's more of an ADHD thing, I think. I was quiet, serious, introverted, exceptionally smart, therefore picked on, therefore internalized trauma, therefore artistic, therefore deep thinking, able to hang out with and converse with adults and understand complex universal concepts and philosophies, at a young age. it is how to spot the evolved souls who have been through many lifetimes. The level of harboring all the suffering in the world is almost too much to bear sometimes, and as an adult it is quite honestly crippling.

My son has diagnosed ADHD & ticks all the boxes and in his late teen years seems mildly autistic and his school diagnosed him as such but he has a lot of the indigo child traits too. Is it possible to be both or does his extreme personality, just make him seem ADHD? He tried the meds but they never seemed like they made much difference, so I discontinued them when he was young. The last few years he wanted them again & takes them religiously & is quite interested in them & how all these drugs work, like a dang pharmacist. He says they help him but I don't see an improvement in school performance etc. He just doesn't give a rip about expectations or authority. He's too smart for his own good, but someday he may change the 🌎.

@@idid138 he doesn't sound like he fits the characteristics for indigo, in my opinion, which is not professional. I'm sure he is wonderful and I hope he can find some thing that balances out his life. He has way too many things going on to be classic type indigo. for the record, I don't believe in pharmaceuticals and being an indigo child and having conditions that need to be medicated are entirely different things but yes, it would be possible to be both.

I respectively disagree a little. ADHD and autistic spectrum disorder are highly correlated with many of these traits, which are not necessarily negative. There is a theory out of the university of Virginia. I think that has studied individuals who have similar traits, and their correlation with Nuero divergency, specifically ADHD and autistic spectrum disorder..

This episode resonated so loudly with this “spot on 17/17 girl” who was labeled only as a “highly intelligent, talented and gifted but extremely difficult child” who spent her childhood with her head in the clouds day dreaming and who spent more time doodling detailed fine art around the entire circumference of her school work and took more pride in that portion of her contribution to the educational system, than in the subject matter at hand. I was disciplined often and made to sit out of creative events at school in the cruelest of fashions because (& they would tell me this as a young child), that even though I was clearly one of, if not “the” most talented among my peers, I was also the most disruptive and clearly the naughtiest because I didn’t pay attention in class and “refused” to focus on the menial tasks at hand, and they simply would not tack with that kind of behavior. They never once took into account that I was bored mindless and realized that I was wildly and entirely misunderstood, so they quite often publicly shamed and shunned me and punished me for things beyond my control … this ignited an already latent distrust of authority that continues in monumental fashion to this day. Thank you for this so very deeply. Now I have yet another rabbit hole into which I must jump. 🐇 🐰 🐇

I've looked this up before as I always felt like I was just dropped off here on this planet and don't belong and as a child I remember asking my parents if I was adopted lol I scored a 16-17 as well, where's the blue cult?! I also, being a woman, was recently diagnosed with ADHD in my 40s, so there's that as well. As young girls when we were different, we were just told to fit in. I wasn't hyperactive but I wanted to do what I wanted to do and felt I was too smart for school, and it was boring and a waste of my time. My younger self disliked never feeling like I fit in, but my older, wiser self really couldn't care less anymore. In fact, I am happy now I am not "normal." I don't understand how we still remain so divided as a people. I have this desire to understand people but also find them so perplexing when it comes to how we hate, kill and refuse to realize we have a lot more in common than we don't. I have a high level of injustice sensitivity and was always just a very sensitive person that also is very intuitive and has amazing pattern recognition! To this day my dad still triggers me when he tells me I need to just worry about myself. I don't understand what that means. I find that difficult, like others don't think of how their own actions could afflict others or have an innate desire to stand up for others because it is the right thing to do even if they are not currently affected by something? I think I can bounce easily (when I can focus) between creative and analytical. I dislike small talk and would rather discuss why are we here and how we are, what is the purpose of it all and conspiracy theories and I NEED to spend time alone. Animals keep me grounded to this planet and animals and young children always seem to flock to me even though I never became a human parent by choice. I dislike being told what to do. I will be respectful about it but if you can't make me understand the need or purpose or I just think its entire purpose is to control I won't do it. Whether we are here to raise the frequency of the planet, create change for the betterment of humanity or it's simply a ying yang sort of thing and half or so of us just think differently, I will take the misfits, dreamers, poets, creatives, and rebels any day on my team! Is there any factual numbers of the percentage of people currently on earth is said to be an Indigo? It seems a lot of this falls into the neurodivergent category.

Beyond that Indigo is and was always my color, today I’ve learn a lot about myself and my childhood. Checking: Strong willed, old-soul, free thinker, rebel to directions (I thought I’d always opened ways to my siblings being the eldest of six), difficult to fit in boxes, used to think out of it, creative in a creative career (architect), highly intuitive (it has truly helped me a lot in my lifetime), high capacities IQ (if that is a symptom..), truth seeker and driven to change this world for better (my “career” as a young HHRR defender carried me days of jail service during Franco’s days..), empathetic, leader of my team but never boss. Very connected to nature and animals (who other has had a cow, a swift and a bat as pets..). High sensitive person. Spiritual more than religious. Always struggling with boredom. I’m now 52 & in the past two years have FINALLY began to understand myself. I’ve scored very high for INJF, Empath, Intuitive, & now a 17/17 for an Indigo Child. Oh and I’m RH Negative blood. I’ve never been able to see animals in pain, even on tv. It makes my skin crawl & I cannot leave the situation fast enough. I can’t handle people suffering in any way. It breaks my heart. And being around too many people & too much energy absolutely wears me down. You’ll always find me hiding with the critters 🥰🤗 Or with the children. But with teenagers or adults, it’s just too much. I need the innocent, joyful & happy energy. Adults lose that. I take my grandkids camping as often as possible to instill a love of nature in them. Anyway, thank you for this video. Quite interesting stuff. The last set of twins in my family, born before me, ended in death from heartbreak. They were girls & one passed of SIDS very young. 6 months later to the day the other twin girl passed & the Dr said it was caused by her broken heart from losing her twin. It’s a real thing for sure. I feel like I’ve only got one or two heartstrings left tbh.

Gah! I just LOVED this conversation so much! Like Jonathan, I am 17/17. I’ve always been a little “woo-woo,” but the child I brought into this world has made me a believer in more of the extrasensory world. He is a nonspeaker, autistic, and types to communicate. He has a brilliant mind. He started telling me what color people were when he was a tot. It took years for me to get that he was seeing auras. He can tell whether someone is his cup of tea instantly. (I’ll ask him about Jonathan’s aura, btw) Most people who have the characteristics of indigo children would likely have a yellow/golden aura. You can actually find info about different colors of auras and their characteristics if you search. Auras can also change, not just over time, but with moods, illness, etc. My son will tell me mine is red when I’m angry! He also sees brown in auras of people who are ill. I can’t begin to fathom what it’s like to see the world through his eyes and with his brain. But to me, he is the *real* most interesting man in the world. I have wondered if being unable to speak has heightened his other senses and developed his sixth sense to some degree. Anyhoo! That’s probably the longest RU-vid comment I’ve ever made. lol.

13/17. I don't feel like I need the label of "indigo child/adult" because I've already done a bunch of internal work to accept for myself the labels of ADHDer, neurodivergent, even disabled. There's nothing inherently wrong with having ADHD, and there's a lot I have to offer the world, but there's a trade off in that I struggle to function in a society that is not built for people like me, and thus, I am disabled (which I see as a neutral term). I've found community with other ADHDers and the wider communities of neurodivergence and disability, and I try to push for society to be more accommodating of all of us.

I latched onto this concept for myself a few years back before I self-identified as an autistic woman. I went on to get an official diagnosis bc sensitive indigo me knew nobody would take it seriously unless I had a neuropsych assessment, so I did at age 40. I no longer subscribe to the indigo concept. I think it's a form of ableism, the kind that doesn't look ugly on the outside, but really does some harm later in life when the child becomes an autistic adult. Nobody grows out of it. Some of us just mask or develop PTSD from being so sensitive and having that invalidated.

17/17 right here... I'm one of the not so lucky children that grew up into great indigo adults. I was badly traumatized by the schooling system. I had all these characteristics, never fit in, teachers either loved me or hated me for being inquisitive and always asking why, I always felt like everyone were like sheep just following orders and never thinking anything remotely deeper, I got bored or too excited about subjects, I was too sensitive for all the noise and light and people... I had my first burnout when I was 11. After that it was just hell. I feel like I won't ever be able to go to university, even though I would love to learn more and be able to study. But I am doing my best with what I got! I got a certificate as an Expert by Experience and I am being active on helping others with struggles in mental health, as well as educating officials and making services easier for users. Did you eventually get assessed for autism spectrum or adhd? Because what you described are traits. @DanniBby I fought for 15 years to get tested, but didn't get a diagnosis. The test was showing traits, but my impulsiveness and hyperactivity didn't reach high enough. @DanniBby Yes, I am aware of all this, but I can't really do anything about getting the diagnosis right now, but as long as I can get treatment for my problems, it doesn't really matter at the moment. It doesn't change that I still am about 90% sure I am on the autism spectrum. I only recently started to realize how much I mask and hide a lot of the traits, and they are starting to come out with certain (safe) people and situations. I have OCPD, which is different from OCD, although there is some similarity. But yes, the connection with autism spectrum seems glaringly obvious.

Her mom was a busy woman who juggled finding a balance between being a working mom and raising a family. One day, her mom came home from work exhausted and depleted. When Lily looked at her, she said, "Mom, why don't I check your chakras and align them before dinner? I think it might help you feel better." I was in awe to understand a lot of words that you were using...synchronicities, third eye, chakra system, etc. It's been only a year since i've started actively on this journey of knowledge, of self love and karma healing. I have started from manifestation of other realms from me and mainly my kids. I have started from there to search for answers to what was happening to us. We're all in and i have encountered extraordinary people since. I know now that my 3 year old has his 3rd eye completely open. My heavily disabled kid is a very pure soul . My middle child has some developped senses and we now go to special parent-child sessions. Saturday we just practiced sensing aura and how to create our protection circle. This is a very interesting journey and our children is a fundamental legacy for a better tomorrow. Our generation is paving a way (ex. Cleaning the family tree from trauma, our own karma) a beautiful journey to all beautiful souls out there.

I’m a 17 outta 17! It was a long journey to get to that understanding of my experience thus far in life. Diagnosed with mental illness and medicated when I was young through much of life because I sensed things more than others, which meant something was wrong with me. I felt so misunderstood, knowing things weren’t like I was forced to believe they were. So you’re mentioning the suppression of your unique self was a very “seen” statement to me. Also, The empath term and understanding led me to this topic. I do feel, as an indigo child, a deep instinct/knowing of a long term plan that we are one of the waves to help us evolve for the betterment of the earth along with everything that lives on her. I appreciate your coverage on this topic! This is the first time I’ve seen your channel and I didn’t feel “made fun of” in these new terms linking with science. A Much appreciated bridge ! It really is another demonstration of how we are evolving. Thank you again☺️

This is an awesome topic!!! My thoughts, Indigo Children are those who can see that spectrum of the rainbow that no others can see. We can even feel it too. I'm 17 out of 17. It's not that we're bored, it's that we're disinterested because we don't conform to the established norm/way of life that's been "given" to us via Pavlovian education. And I mean ESTABLISHED. Why do you think witches were burned at the stake? They knew things others didn't comprehend and were more healers, innovaters and artisans than others. Why do you think movies like The Wizard of OZ or Harry Potter were created or even movies and television and theatre were created? To show others that different ways and worlds exist. My dad to was an Indigo Child. He created a TV show called The Outer Limits which spawned Star Trek which spawned a whole bunch of innovations. He saw things others didn't and was able to share his visions to the masses. I know he's floating around somewhere looking at what has been created through science, technology and the imagination. If only he were here in physical form, he'd be blown away by this program! I could go on about this topic! Thank you Mayim! You rock! 🙏❤️

17. I used to think i was indigo. Now i know im Audhd. Autistic people have more neural pathways with less pruning, adhd have extreme awareness of their surroundings which we label as distractability. We often mystify what we dont understand. The sad thing is i was around for this trend, and saw many people ignore thier childrens medical needs and call them special. Considering the rate at which both autistic and adhd people unalive themselves this is really not something i think should be encouraged. People need to know who they really are. Many adults diagnosed have an immense sense of relief, and stop hating themselves for struggling to fit in. Anyone can be spiritual. But for good mental health balance is important. Accepting adhd and autism as a naturally occurring phenomenon in humans is necessary to save lives, and also, people with these traits tend to be innovative and bring humans forward in evolution. I practice shamanism. I have accepted and understand my traits. Im quite fine with understanding autism and adhd. If i had just thought i was indigo, and so was my child, NEITHER of us would get the medication we needed to improve our functionality and our chances at survival. I am hoping that as a scientist that you can bring some balance to this subject, as not recognized your own unique issues and needs can be extremely detrimental to people's lives. As the gentleman demonstrates, you can be both. And taking medication can help tremendously, and will not affect your spiritual abilities. Trust me.

As someone raised in a household with books on indigo children, with a mom who just wanted to feel better about all 3 of her children being neurodivergent, I can say that this label does not help anyone. If anything it can cause more harm than good. Highly sensitive people exist and it’s important to normalize that rather than over-labeling, which really just serves to further separate these children (and adults) who already feel so different. Let’s just accept that everyone is on a different part of the sensitivity spectrum!! We all have value in different ways. Calling yourself or your child an indigo child is grandiose at best. My brother has autism, which is different than being a highly sensitive person, though autistic people are often highly sensitive, as my brother is. Not all highly sensitive people are autistic, and not all autistic people are highly sensitive!! Everyone is so different and that, to me, is the beauty of humanity :) If only we could all have compassion and understanding for each other without the need for these labels.

I'm only halfway into the questions, but I was already thinking "this just describes many gifted folks!", especially sensitive, idealistic types. Like me. Edit: I'm back. Yup, it's all just about idealistic, introverted, sensitive, creative, independent-minded gifted people. I think "indigo" overlaps or describes a much older theory posited by the Polish psychiatrist/psychologist (he was both) Dobrowski, who said that gifted people really are _different_ and these differences are sometimes pathologized and misdiagnosed as ADHD, Autism, Bipolar, &/or Narcissism. A decade ago, I attended a fascinating day-long seminar at a local university by an expert in this and while everyone else (including some mental health professionals attending) were going "Really? That's a gifted thing? Who knew?", _I_ was saying "Yeah, of course, _that_ fits with most gifted folks I've known, including me. So that's a gifted thing, huh?...interesting...makes sense." The lecturer explained it is possible to be both gifted _and_ have other conditions, but she laid out which "symptoms" are just "gifted" quirks and which indicate a true "condition". It was pretty illuminating for all of us. I also learned about "existential depression" and another kind (I forget which) I'd never heard of that made _so_ much sense of my own depression which started at age 12. I highly recommend reading up on this and perhaps letting your gifted kids &/or their parents know. It may help them avoid being misdiagnosed and could help them not feel so "different in a 'less-than' way".

During electrical storms, plants sometimes react to the electrical fields caused by the storms by discharging tiny sparks of electricity. These sparks can create a faint blue haze known as a corona. Mary, the Mother of God, will surround us in the blue mantle of her prayers. A woman is not ready to 'give birth' until her cervix is dilated to the full measure of 10 centimeters. A soul is not ready to be 'born again' until the Holy Spirit dilated it to the full measure of the 10 Commandments. Keep in mind the eyes 'dilate' too. Pupil dilation also occurs when there’s activity in the part of our brain that helps us feel emotion. This may occur while we’re experiencing our own emotions as well as when we’re empathizing with someone else’s emotions. Proverbs 30:17 says the eye is the window to the soul.

Ask autistic communities about how they feel about the term and you'll get mixed feelings, but also a ton of information about the origins and people behind the term and craze. I myself used to think it was a compliment and I related until learning much more about it and the problematic nature of "spiritual bypassing" and like really problematic views of the woman who coined the word. OK now that I've infodumped I can sleep.

@kgonzalez8098 I found a lot by googling. Also try the phrases crystal children and blue children. Not to be that guy, but there are even genocidal connotations as such with people like Hans Asperger, which is another tangentially related but completely separate rabbit hole to explore which borders on the functioning labels and person first controversies, but is way more involved and has really sus history. It's even mentioned on the Wikipedia page about indigos.

This is true! I had a boss label me as an indigo child and use the cultural discourse around Indigo People to dismiss my valid accommodation needs as an autistic adult.

Yes, this! I used to run in those circles and was gaslit so many times about my disability. "You chose it before you came into this lifetime", "your thoughts created it" , "it's your karma" etc. I am neurodivergent but also have an invisible physical disability (or should I say, when people see me...which is when I'm well enough for the couple of hours to go out and interact). Ableism is rife in the new age community. What I also didn't know at the time was how many narcissists are in that community, as well as how many "empaths" (ie so many traumatized people who are spiritually bypassing). They attract each other, sadly. Or should I say, the narcs are predators and the empaths often victims. So many highly sensitive "empaths" are carrying childhood trauma and are hypervigilant, hence their extreme sensitivity and "ability" to read people. It all came to a head one day when I heard someone in a position of "leadership" say that another's parent had to be raped in order to fulfill their karma. WtheAF came out of my mouth and I shook my head awake. I had therapy before and still considered myself spiritual, but didn't realize I was still doing some spiritual bypassing of my own. I got more therapy and came to realize the difference between spirituality and magical thinking (sometimes still an ongoing process). How to recognize narcs, set boundaries and how to undo a lot of conditioning. I have had quite a number of precognitive dreams, lots of deja vu and other unexplainable incidents. But I would never call myself psychic or gifted in that respect. It's not at will and I can certainly be comfortable that there are many mysteries in this world without having to explain all of them. So many of these traits of so called indigo children - let's say so many can relate. Creative? Sensitive? Introverted? Strong onnection to animals? They're very general, and of course self identified. I've known wildly creative people who don't think they are, and others who scrapbook and think they are. I'm not the one to judge but creativity is a feature of humans. We tend to think of it as the arts, but I disagree. People can be creative in how they problem solve, for eg. Or even how they arrange their tools. I have a relative who has always thought they are an indigo adult. In fact, they are a malignant narcissist. (when I figured this out and showed all the info about malig narcs to other family members, they all agreed) New age is commercialized "spirituality". We are all special and unique. Yes, some are more gifted in certain areas than others - that can be a blessing and a curse. But do I personally believe in indigo children/adults? No.

I've been told that I have a strong aura, although I don't recall the color. I'll have to check back on that part. This was an excellent learning opportunity to bridge the chasm between spirituality and science.

I AM A 17/17 INDIGO CHILD & HSP!!! This was by far the most eye opening breakdown podcast that I have heard! To quote Jonathon, “maybe this is the divine intervention I needed to understand myself better.” 😮 OMG!!! YES!!! You said you wanted to talk to HSP 17/17 folks. This is me, at my core, which I feel very deeply and strongly because I’m a 100% Indigo Child & HSP!!! Dude, when is Jonathon starting the support groups? I will BE THERE because this is affecting my life in all aspects: work, school (as a teacher and current student), friendships, family relationships, love life, relationship with MYSELF! Will I want to control the group and do it “my way” because I’m an independent Indigo Child? Of course! In all seriousness, I’ve been looking into attachment theory, family systems and HSP with my therapist. The Indigo Child seems to be the missing puzzle piece! I think it should be a DSM diagnosis. General Example: Its finally raining right now at 4:30 AM after a severe lack of rain in Indianapolis meaning that we’ve had a ban on bonfires. It’s November 18 & I haven’t had a Fall bonfire since Halloween. I need my fall fire fix! Am I hard core wanting to cancel everything in my life from now until it’s supposed to stop raining around 3PM so that I can listen to the rain on the tin roof and watch it outside my window? YES!!! If it’s warm enough, I’ll be outside in the middle of the trees to watch, hear, feel and EXPERIENCE the rain in nature with my dog. My soul NEEDS this to survive!!! Some people watch movies-I experience Nature, preferably with a dog and my Frame Drum. I’m so willing to share more! PLEASE follow up on this so that I know how to live my life!!! 😮😂🤦‍♀️♥️😊

When I was 17 I saw my mother's aura. She was utterly furious about something, but I couldn't hear a word she was saying because I was staring at this huge red glow surrounding her head. It would not go away, no matter how much I shook my head or blinked. It was utterly bizarre and I absolutely saw it; so I suddenly knew auras were absolutely real. I've never seen another one, but my mother was amazingly psychic. There were many displays of this that shocked me over the years, but the wildest one was when we were out shopping one day and she suddenly pulled a 180 in the car in the middle of traffic to race home as fast as she could drive, shouting something was wrong with my dad. We were all terrified, thinking she had lost her mind and we were all going to die with her behind the wheel. She screeched the car into the driveway just as my father came out of the backyard covered in blood, he'd cut his hand deeply with his band saw. It was saved because my mother was there and got him to the hospital so fast. These things were demonstrated to me, so I believe in them absolutely. I don't try to explain them though.

Thank you for this video. I study constantly trying to understand myself and what's wrong with me. I'm 56. I have self diagnosed as autistic. I try to talk to people all the time. My family too. I have no real friends. My friends on Facebook are not friends. Yesterday I deactivated my facebook because it really hurts when no body likes or comments on my posts...after so long of being ignored and ostracized does begin to cause negative consequences in my body. Because I was trying so hard to be a good poster and post my art and post my cats. So I turned it off. And I'm gonna just take a break from that for now. I'm certain I am indigo as well. I created a you tube with all of my poetry almost 230 videos of poetry readings. But that is not doing well either. My art doesn't get any attention either. I'm not sure but sometimes it feels like I shouldn't be here. My cats need me so... maybe after the new year I'll get intuition to go in a different direction. Xo hugs

The positive things about Indigo Children is that they are often born to be Lightworkers, spiritual healers, and teachers. A lot of Indigo Children are also Starseeds. You should research that term, and maybe to a show about them. I think a lot of listeners will say it makes a lot of sense and realize they may be one.

Something that can help an indigo child to connect with the earth and to help calm themselves is to get grounded. Just spend time every day possible grounding, that is being barefoot outside in the grass, in the dirt or even in the sand. I do at least 30 minutes each day that it’s not too cold, in my yard or wherever I am camping in the spring and summer. Try it. It clears your mind and provides some tranquility. It’s so beneficial to my mental health.

My 14 year old daughter is on the autism spectrum. We had a tough time with her behaviours from age 6 to 12, believe me. Very violent. But once she was diagnosed and we learned what she was going through, we were able to help her. Now she is 14, I totally see her as an Indigo child. She really is a special kiddo and we love and support her fully as she is.
