This is a full course on Intuitive art.
What is intuitive art?
What's the benefits of intuitive art?
How to get started intuitively painting?
I break all of this down into easy to understand and step by step instructions including what you can use to paint with.
Intuitive art can be therapeutic. Not only in a meditative sense, but also learning to trust your instincts and intuition. You will allow yourself the freedom of expression and ability to let go in the playfulness that intuitive art creation allows for.
You may want to play this over and paint along with me. Please let me know if you create intuitive art and what benefits have you gained from the experience of painting intuitively.
If you'd like to read more in-depth of what intuitive art is, please check out my blog post here: www.createagai...
Thanks for watching and have a creative day!

Hey Elizabeth. I'm usually finished when I'm mentally satisfied. But if you're wanting it to look a certain way, then it really depends if you like it more bold or busy or maybe a little in between. I would also suggest finding a balance: in color, shapes and texture. They don't necessarily have to be the same or symmetrical, think weight balance. Use repeating patterns in a different size. Lastly don't just use one color in one spot, use it elsewhere in your painting, if even just a spot. Happy intuitive painting!

Hi, I really like the way you present intuitive art and how we are all creative, but some people stop expressing it from childhood. Your voice is calm and soothing. Very well done! ❤ Doing intuitive art has helped me a lot in my spiritual healing and mental health journey!

Thank you Cynthia for the kind comment on my voice. We are all creative innately but yes sadly society doesn't value the health benefits of art and is looked at as a kid thing. So happy to hear you practice intuitive art and that it brings you serenity on your personal journey. 💞

Start to finish, I was captivated and couldn't miss a second. Beautiful, brave, and extensive use of only 1/2 a dozen colors, and not a stencil or stamp in sight! Somehow you maintained cohesiveness without repeating a single element other than color. Every time I thought, ok she's finished, it's beautiful - on you went! Can you tell me if this was done in one sitting, or over several days? I am delving into this kind of style a bit, but never quite manage to take it to this next level. Working on it, though, and this gives me confidence that "killing my darlings" (as someone said) will only lead to better things :) Great work, watching was a pleasure, and I hope to see more! Haha, just want you to know that I'm kinda stingy when it comes to likes & subs & comments, but if I could, I would put this one at the top of the almighty algorithms list of good watches and asmr stuff ;)

Yope, what a humble and generous comment you've written!?! Thank you for pointing out what I thought was insignificant or ordinary. My typical advice is layering -go right over anything you don't like or doesn't make your heart happy, especially when painting intuitively or intuitive creating. You can always use a design or paper that speaks to you. This is a rather small canvas so it probably took an hour or two. Thanks for the ference of "killing my darlings". Story of my life. Haha. Even though intuitive painting isn't exactly about the end result, I'm sure yours will be beautiful because it comes from a place of love!! Good luck and thanks again for stopping by!

Awesome! Loved to watch go with the flow. I am new to painting and I learnt a lot. I don't know when to call it finished. I do few layers and then I think it's done. Also hesitant to go over something that I like and think it's beautiful. How do I decide when to go over it or keep it? Thank you for sharing this beautiful lesson.

For me it's mostly how I feel about it. If I don't love it or feel good about it, I keep going over it. Try to let your fear go of "ruining it" and just keep going until you love it. Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your process with me!

What type of tool are you using at time 7:23. Is it a brush? I love how it was used to make the yellow flower.

Hi Janis. Thanks so much for noticing. It is a putty paddle or epoxy mixer. Tried to find you a link but I couldn't find or figure out where I got it. Similarly, you can use a flex type of baking spoon or a palette knife. Hope that helped! Thanks again for being here! 💞
