On the same stream, after she sung the ending of Kodomo no Jikan(a lolicon anime), the chat went "FBI OPEN UP!" Korone got legitimately scared for a moment and she even googled what FBI means only for her to finally calm down when the chat said its a joke. They(Japanese) have a similar joke which goes "moshi moshi, keisatsu desu ka!?" (Hello is this the cops!?) as a comedic respose to any activity involving a loli. Goes to show that we have cultural differences in jokes and memes that even Korone doesnt know that the FBI which was about to attack her is just a joke. Meanwhile Watame knows that joke about the cops coming after her when she chose the 13 year old girl to be her idol of choice to support as a producer in that idol game shes playing. Then again, its just Korone being Korone, she doesnt know much about western jokes and western internet slangs to the point that she got scared and confused as to why the FBI is coming for her. It is also good to know that the people on the chat apologized to Korone for scaring her.
@@joaopereira717 Theres a scene in Kodomo no Jikan where a loli grabbed a fully grown man's dick but ok. Sure, the scene doesnt show the actual dick nor the actual grabbing to keep it "PG", the reaction and the movement of the characters implies it quite well. Before anyone judges me, I was new to anime at the time so I was exposed to garbage and classics alike. Cowboy beebop, Outlaw Star, FMA, Dragonball etc are my good experience in old animes. I also saw garbage ones like To love Ru, Kodomo no Jikan etc. Nowadays I avoid as much garbage as possible.
Oh heck! I was there! I had recognized the music but I hadn't known the song was from Kodomo no Jikan. I was confused why chat started FBI memes until after someone mentioned it, and that it was the anime ending theme. To which my brain had immediately translated it as "kid's time" (I've barely known only very basic words). Anyway, no judgements here, it's an old anime. Interesting meme history there. Ngl tho, I still like the song
@Jesse Quarnstrom Gurren Lagann's writer basically said GL is his tribute/modern anime take on Getter. The concept of Sprial Energy is taken directly from Getter Rays.
@@RadiantEdge027 Yeah, although there is one major difference between Getter Rays and Spiral Energy... Spiral Energy remains as a power used for good, while Getter Rays however only benefits humanity and those that submit to them.
Wait do I also see mazinger z in the song list Korone is a doog of culture I see Edit: lucky star opening as well holy shit this k stream is just a nostalgia fest
We Are The World and Material Girl in KoronEnglish, Disney songs, Sailor Moon, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Super Sentai, and old school Super Robot series (like Godmars of all things). I was expecting the usual J-pop like the other Hololivers are doing, but Korone just keeps blowing my mind.
@@taurtearl Well, the game she played are classic too, different from other Hololive games (Well, but it seems now her influence already spreading, like PP Tenshi or even Pekora, they starting to play other classic games too like Dragon Quest or Chrono Trigger) She's really great.
@@belrog4269 go nagai can still watch this and scream at the sky:"we did it, ken chan, did you see it?". the dynamic originals getter robo noir also look great.
i just love how all of them vibe so hard when they sing...its amazing the energy they project...maybe yagoo's dream is not so farfetch and unattainable...
i think the viewers at the time were requesting for the shin getter song. the one called heats. but i like this original getter opening more so it's a win for me lol
I hope my future wife has a lot of the personality/character traits Korone has irl. Sweet, caring and always thinking of others. This is ideal in my eyes. Not to mention really cute.
I'd say that's a very good rendition of the Getter Robo theme. Well done, Korone!! I watched the fan-subbed TV series back in 1977, when I was ten. The OAV remake, I gather, is far more intense than the 1974--76 series. 🇬🇧🐨❤🇯🇵💗💙💛👍👍
I wonder if she knows that that 70s anime is actually a huge lie on what the actual story of Getter Robo is. The manga is actually a weird cosmic horror story that never gets properly animated for some reason lol
Her "you understand" never fails to make me chuckle, truly the personification of all there is of good in this world, but who decided that was a masochist as well
its odd that i can't find this video when searching with "getter robo inugami korone" search tags. i have to go to a playlist of "inugami korone sings" just to see this video.
