To the Uploader, I totalled one of these chairs in 2012, the longevity isn’t exactly great and that’s basically down to build quality. I ended up having a Permobil M400 which last me almost 10 years. I managed to get myself a new TiLite manual this year (2022). I am typically a hybrid chair user, so both manual and powered wheelchair. I’ve dropped having a powered wheelchair in definitely at present because I can’t take one out and about. So I am back as a manual wheelchair user full time, no complaints considering if I was to get another powered wheelchair it would be if I ended up driving from my chair. It beats having a Motability vehicle, especially when you have to consider care charges, so due to me stopping using my powered wheelchair because of a mechanical failure after 10 years, I got out of my five year lease within 2 1/2 years give or take. Anyway all the best to you and yours.
You did well there as that is an amazing fete! Yes. There is always the condundrum between manual and powerchair use. You will see on my channel I also review some products for Manual chairs.
@@wheelchairgeek what do you think of Panadol as a company? Then my favourite company to work for As I’ve said I had an M400 last me 10 years even though I totalled a TDX SP in five and my current Day to day chair is a TiLite Aero X, Probably my favourite manual I’ve ever used, it’s my first private manual as well.
Thanks! You try to give a review but the camera lets you run out of sight too ofen, too long etc. It's too close to you so doesn't show the important chair at whole most of the time. Very sad.
Most of my videos are shot by my son who has autism and learning delay. I'm not attempting to be a RU-vidr. I am just a wheelchair user who got fed up of being ripped off by buying dud or unsuitable chairs second-hand and wanted to help other people.
Hi Dean, yes, I use a WAV and it's in fact one of the best chairs I know for getting up Ramps - ever! However, your seating position in a WAV is very high! This might affect what type of WAV you go for.
