Just like how Cartoon Network no longer does ambitious events like this, so many youtube channels never try anything new, so here's a huge thanks to you and all the collaborators for going the extra mile and experimenting. It's always a joy to watch!

One thing you missed with the FHFIF ep was the movie theater scene where the movie playing was literally foreshadowing the torture scene in camp Lazlo.

When I'm feeling sad, or just need a good dose of nostalgia, I like to watch those long-ass compilations of the CN City bumpers and the old Boomerang bumpers. They were always so much fun and always sucked you into the TV. They always had this charming grasp on you that made you sit and watch cartoons for HOURS. It made drudging through the boring commercials soooooo worth it! But I watched TV recently and discovered that Bumpers don't even exist anymore. Literally, they just show ads, and then the show. Sometimes they even play the show and ads AT THE SAME DAMN TIME! I think Bumpers are a dying art, so seeing over an hour long video talking about them is great!

It really was a golden age, the internet enhanced TV but wasn't yet undermining it.

Somehow, I completely misremembered the Billy and Mandy episode as being a KND story all the way through instead of just having the KND gag at the end.

I remember always being hype over cartoon teasers. This, the first glimpses of Invader Zim, the promo for The Invader storyline on Toonami and the events that happened after it. I was like a kid who heard the ice cream truck with how excited I'd get.

I like how the concepts of CN Invaded and CN City kind of coalesced into FusionFall, even though the game didn't last nearly long enough due to money (shocking). Like come on- aliens begin invading Cartoon Network's shared universe and our heroes have to stop them? I loved this concept, super short lived.

In Invaded did you noticed there was a butt monkey/punching bag themed character? Frankie for Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends , Eddy for Ed Edd n Eddy , Adam for My Gym Partner's a Monkey and Samson for Camp Lazlo's first half. I don't think CL's second half or the entirely of Billy and Mandy's episode had such a character.

The only thing I can think of for Disney was their Jetix block that came on at night. Nickelodeon nothing. Cartoon Network was always superior to those channels.

The Main Saga: Chapter 1 - The Amazing World of Gumball: "The Sighting" In Elmore, Gumball & Darwin were staying up for the night to watch horror movies just for amusement, but just as they switched to the news, an alien sighting has been posted in Elmore. With news spreading about the Alien sighting everywhere leading to a major panic, Gumball and Darwin send 4 main packages to different locations along with other 5 packages as a backup outside from Elmore and tell the rest of Elmore High that they'll find the alien with the help of Carnie and Anais to search for the Alien roaming around in Elmore. As the new arrives, his name is Louis, and appears to be a rabbit who was looking for a job with a good work ethic. The Park Gang welcomes Louis as they gave him a tour around the Park along with the rules and tasks. Mordecai and the rest of the gang were impressed by Louis for his humor and work ethic, but Rigby on the other hand was suspicious of Louis for the way he talks differently. Due to Rigby's semi-hobby of Alien Huntings/Sightings having to receive a lime package with being curious about what's inside of the package, he believes Louis is disguised as an alien due to his language and tries to frame Louis that he's an Alien. Benson scolds Rigby and tells him that aliens are a complete myth and if he does frame Louis, he could get fired. However, the rest of the Park Gang checked on Louis in a sneaky way during the night to figure out if Rigby was telling the truth. Chapter 4 - Clarence: "Sumo Gotta Go!" Before going on their road trip, Clarence got a pink package from his front door and since he didn't have time to take it inside the house, he takes it on their road trip. During a road trip, Clarence, Jeff, Sumo are heading to the Super Fun Alantas to have a fun relaxing vacation with their parents. Things were going normal in their Super Fun Alantas trip, however, something happened to Sumo after playing all the fun games, as it caused him to yell "Gotta Go!" repeatedly as he starts to spasm out of control. Running in different directions around the Atlanta's, making the folks feeling scared and knowing what's going on with Sumo, it's up to Clarence and Jeff to chase down Sumo from this unknown phonation he's going through, which caught Josh's attention that Sumo is part of the Aliens, thus, having to find a way to catch him to turn Sumo into the authorities that he's an Alien. Chapter 5 - Uncle Grandpa: "UFO Secrets of Loose Ends" In this One Hour Final Chapter of CN Invaded 2, the UG Gang discovers that Aliens have invaded their world and learned that Uncle Grandpa was captured by Aliens from Belly Bag, who had escaped from the aliens. With Mr. Gus, Pizza Steve, Belly Bag, GRFT, and Tiny Miracle taking control of Uncle Grandpa's RC, Mr. Gus opens a light yellow package to reveal to be an alien tracker as a way to find where the aliens that captured Uncle Grandpa. Finally arriving through the UFO, the UG Gang ambushes through to attack aliens throughout the mothership in hopes to find Uncle Grandpa safe as well as finding out secrets and confidential intel of why the Aliens were doing the whole invasion task.

Honestly, nothing will beat the creative unique vibes of the 90's-2000's. I hate being that guy, but cartoons suck now, arguably have the last like 6 years from what I've seen. I miss the look, I miss the weirdness, I miss how they didnt baby the audience with simple boring plots and fart jokes. The only watchable CN shows to me are/were Gumball, Reg Show, and Adv Time. Like, man I just hope we have a media/cartoon renaissance and really look back on the use of weird and creative art and plot, and TRUST IN THE IMAGINATION OF THE VIEWER. (Also I know how nerdy this whole comment is, but cartoons were a huge part in shaping who I was outside of my mom and my friends and video games. And I just wish kids who grow up like I did have a reliable escape like a lot of us.)

Ok lemme say this, and believe me I /KNOW/ that it's unpopular, but when they were airing, i loved watching CN Real. Just HEAR ME OUT THO. I was a lil baby kid who you didn't have to do much to impress me, and i was inna phase where that destruction stuff was REALLY entertaining. I loved watching Hole in the Wall, Dude What Would Happen?, and Destroy Build Destroy a LOT bc of the, well, destruction. I don't even remember this crossover except for the alien in MGPAM, that's how young i was then. Looking back at it now, ik full well that it wasn't a good move because you might as well just changed it to Network and not Cartoon Network. Ik people might write me off as "ay you was too young" or whatever but like, i was a part of their target audience and they knew a large group of viewers wouldn't give two shts about it so long as it was somewhat entertaining and there was something to watch on the black screen. I enjoyed it then and i enjoyed it when it was on Netflix for however long (at least i think it was??). I didn't think it was all bad then, but ik now it waaass, a pretty trash move for CN
