Series idea. 1890 - 1940 World Conquest. You will have 50 years to conquer every major power ( every country you can go to war against). Only restriction on ships is tech and shipyards, you can change doctrine as you please. You must build your navy from scratch. You can choose any nation you want ( I would personally use Germany bc it’s most fitting). Last thing fill free to take other countries ships as trophies ( only the most grand of them), because this will be a very good story. And what I would love to see is a grand naval museum of old ships with sentimental value and ships from other countries taken as trophies. Something to reflect on at the end before the credits roll.

I really like how you are playing into the various political events, making them part of the story. Many other UAD content creators treat those as though they are just irritating interruptions and skip by them. Whether or not you like the way it works (and it could be improved), it is a big part of the game. Personally, I would like to see some more build up to those "conquest" events to offer the player a chance to move some ship assets into range before it is actually called for. I've had several desirable conquests fail simply because I couldn't get my ships there in time. Also, travel times across the map are absurd. It takes no more than a few weeks for even fairly slow steam powered vessels to cross oceans --- not months and months as the game shows.

Looking forward to possibly seeing DD John A. Bole in service in your fleet! Historically the John A. Bole was an Allen M. Sumner class DD that entered service near the end of WWII. My grandfather served on her in Vietnam so it’s always quite neat to me to see her in service in any form!

To split a fleet into 2/3 different locations start by ordering the whole fleet to the first location, this way the rest of the ships can still be selected, then order all ships you don't actually want to go there to location 2 (including those you want to go to location 3) at this point only the ships you want to go to locations 2+3 will be visible due to the overlap but at least you can still select the ships you want to move to location 3 and by next turn they will all split and go there own ways. Just sus the overlap and you can split them that way always the most recently ordered ships will show on top so if you order say 4 CL to move and forget you wanted to send the 4 DD somewhere else they are screwed till next turn because the CL will overlap. So if you send all 8 to one location then split the DD off secondly they wont get overlapped.

In the US Navy during WW2 the Flagship was rarely a BB, it was either an Aircraft Carrier or a heavy Cruiser. Typically Portland or Indianapolis as those two were dedicated command cruiser with Large command centers

Invasion success increases with tonnage present. Be warned that I ran into a bug where I had a 100% success chance yet the game decided that wasn’t good enough.

What are your thoughts on placing torpedos on the centerline at the stern for battleships? Sure, they may block shots directly behind, but if there is enough distance from the turret, the dead zone should be fairly insignificant.

7:18 I think the devs have some sort of irl beef with Thailand and are taking it out in game form. In my last two campaigns, at least four countries tried to invade Thailand consecutively, and it only stopped when I snatched it away (Ladyboys for all in the IJN!). Yes, in general you can, im not sure what the rules for the series are. Hes refitted ships multiple times with all of those things in other campaigns.

I don't usually comment but I feel like the music in this is a little overbearing? I'm not sure if it's just too loud or something, but missing out on the game sounds is a little unfortunate. That being said I love Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts, but I stopped playing it since every campaign ends up feeling very similar... Hoping that this one is as enjoyable as all the others!
