I assume that bending biology allows them to feel the elements, so the eclipse felt like smothering a fire deep inside of them, making them cold. But when it was over, it made them reignite.

Honestly, they should've come with Katara to deal with Azula. Toph could have handled the Dai Li agents on her own, and Aang and Sokka would have the time to sneak past and search for the Fire Lord.

A member of the Gaang conveniently seems to be not around every time they are in a dire situation e.g, catacombs fight and the invasion, which to me seems reasonable coz they're too op together. Katara was out for blood during the invasion, she wouldn't have fumbled around and got straight to business once Azula is on sight.

I guess the writers wouldn't want another turn out for the 1v1 with Azula and Katara like it turned out in Ba Sing Se, it keeps Azula both an interesting and effective villain, fight wise and plot wise. Besides, Katara was progressing too much compared to all the other characters by this point with the exception Iroh, who bulking up to get the hell out of there.

It's sad to see how twisted FN ideology is. Ozai really doesn't see what he's done as abusive or cruel. He sees his kids as things he owns rather than people he loves; even his dad had some kind of respect for family ties.

Ozai has always been a terrible father to zuko but this 10:18-10:27 is how you know that he s at the bottom of barrel of the worst parents ever. He wasnt mad when zuko called him out on being a terrible father. However, he is mad when he realizes his brother "the failure" actually managed to do something he never did. *He got Zuko to learn from him* That s why he s mad. Zukos words didnt hurt his heart or feelings just his ego.

I personally think aang had the more difficult task than korra. The dude is 14 and only had a few months, not to mention he wasn’t mentally prepared. Korra had everything but still took Ls

@@GladwinAbelrandom korra mention. tbh you can’t rlly compare the two. aang had to fight one big bad guy during his strongest (with the help of his prodigy friends). korra had like 4 bad guys to fight and honestly wasn’t mentally prepared for any of them. her first ever enemy being someone who could take her bending away (something no one knew could be possible if you’re not the avatar). her second one being her gaslighting uncle who could control spirits and work with literal DARKNESS itself. the third being a terrorist group who could crumble nations with ease. and the last being a dictator with a titanium mecha suit (something unbendable). and no offense to korra’s gang, while they were super helpful, they are nowhere on the level of aang’s team.

I don’t wanna be that guy but why is it always a female reactor that pissed me off, that blue hair chick at the bottom telling sokka to shut up after he keeps asking azula is so annoying. Like you have no comprehension of sokka character, he already lost his first girl and he’s not gonna loose suki. Love is blind and can cloud even the most intelligent character like sokka

The fact that Ozai was willingly going to kill his own son (not knowing that Zuko knew how to redirect lightning) always gets me. That is so beyond fucked up...the mental trauma any child would go through. Imagine that....your own dad. Ozai is a special type of evil. This is why to many Zuko is a favorite character. He goes through huge character development. So well written.
