An updated classic that served justice and paid homage to the original…Great notable cast Sutherland; Goldblum; Nimoy McCarthy in a great stellar cameo…Great suspense tension and an unexpected ending…Great viewing…

Agreed. It is the one remake which I think surpassed the original. Tight editing and directing, top performances by all, and the combination of paranoia, hysteria, wit, dread, and horror all add up to pure terror. The use of ''Amazing Grace'' near end when it is becoming apparent , that they ARE well into taking over, was brilliant and frightening

I've been feeling like I'm living in this movie for the past 15 years when all my friends started becoming what I now know is "New Age." We've grown-up in this atmosphere, but something turbo-charged this invisible (to the nonreligious) movement after 2001. I just read in Christopher Knowles "Endless American Midnight" that Invasion of the Body Snatchers is actually meant to symbolize New Agism's takeover. How crazy! I wouldn't be surprised if The Blob was also really about the same thing.

Bueno, el xenomorfo no te transforma, más bien usa tu cuerpo como una especie de larva y luego te líquida para nacer. Ese concepto según lo que explicas se parece más a Invasion of the Body Snatcher, The Thing, Leviathan, The Faculty, The Cave y sí, a Prometheus también...
