From giant goldfish, the size of a basketball, to round goby, brought to the Great Lakes from the ocean, invasive fish species are a problem in northeast Ohio.
its only invasive if people dont want them around. Look at the great lakes (coho salmon, chinooks salmon, brown trout and rainbow trout) are not native fish but the DNR stocks them up every year because of sport fishery demands.
electrofishing... brilliant. stuns the fish but does not kill them, allowing fishers to scan the stunned fish on the surface and remove only the invasives.
I didn't know they were doing this but now since I know if you guys read your comments you needed to do ladue reservoir because there is tons of grass carp
