ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE job you did my brother !!! INVENT ANIMATE IS one of my top two favorite metalcore bands of all time . I've seen them twice and got to meet them in Columbus Ohio back last year December 13th. We were so close to them it was incredible the energy they put out in all their shows!!! THE SUN SLEEPS / AS IT NEVER WAS is my favorite favorite two tracks still to this day !! Bringing Marcus in was the best thing they could have done for a new frontman !!! Ik E , D# not sure about the 3rd I get confused how they change tuning on only one string for some songs which tuning were you able to learn these on I’m getting a 7 string and having it set up wondering what tuning I could try to learn most of the songs in, thanks so much great job impressive Maybe a drop pedal would help
@@jjjjjjjjjjjhjjjjjhjj here’s all the info: They used Three tunings on the record Drop E (False Meridian, Immolation of Night, Emberglow) Drop D# (Absence Persistent, Shade Astray, Labyrinthine, Without a Whisper, Purity Weeps, Void Surfacing) Double Drop D (Elysium) There is pitch shifting in Shade Astray(D# another octave below Drop D#), In Immolation of Night (down to Double Drop C), and In Emberglow (down to Double Drop A) My guitar’s main tuning is Drop Ab and everything below that i pitch shift to on the quad cortex If you were gonna get a 7 string for stuff like this, i’d recommend a guitar with at least a 27” scale length and have it set up in drop e hope that helps!
@@PierceAkers Damn, you got a really clear tone with all that heavy downpitching. Did you do anything in particular in the signal chain to make it sound so clear? My guitar gets dull real quick if I try to push anything more than -3 semitones with the transpose feature of neural plugins.
@@Dollyo98 for super low tunings like this, i use the fortin nameless plugin. the pitch shifter on the quad cortex is genuinely one of the best pitch shifters and i use that thing all the time whenever im “downtuning” lmao. carve out as much 65hz and 125hz in the neural plugins as that low sub stuff is uneccessary when tuning down this low. also multiband compression helps when going this low as to not overwhelm everything else but that’s mainly for a mix. hope this helps!
