This is correct. A proper shave with a double edge razor will get you as close as with multi blade razors. Only difference is, you have less blades passing over your face, so you will be less likely to have irritation and ingrown hairs.
no thanks I'm sticking with my 1950 Gillette rocket razor and double edge blades, cannot beat the shave. Men used to know how to pamper thier faces before cartridge razors came along and bullied their way into the market.
