This is great, I was wondering if there is something like this but instead of stock units, I'm after a weight value. Like how much weight a product has left.
Hello Chinmey, I love your plugin but i have couple of questions that i would be interested to cover before making a purchase: 1- Can we create barcodes for products using your plugin ? or i need to use a different plugin for this purpose? 2- Can we do the whole process using an Android or iOS device? without the need to have another computer to process from it the stock inventory audit " for example " ? 3- Does your plugin support QR codes scanning instead of barcodes? Let me know since i am very interested
1. We are adding this feature and it will be released a bit later. As of 2.5 you will need your own barcode. 2. You can use an Android or IOS device but you need a small barcode reader. We have some that can fit in your pocket. 3. Sorry for the delay, I was trying to find a QR code reader. I will be able to test with one in a few days. If the QR code only contains the barcode and no URL or phone number, it will probably work. I'll update later.
I have now tested this with QR codes. If the QR barcode is simple text and the barcode number is in the text field alone, then yes it works. However if the QR code contains other information such as a URL and phone number, then it won't work. I tested this with an Air track 2d barcode scanner.
Very cool! Wondering if you could share some of your knowledge. So, i'm "renting" (for the sake of keeping things short) routers, every router has a unique barcode, all well and good. I need to be able to track which router (barcode) was rented and who rented it as it'll need to be returned as some point. I see for multiples of a particular item you scan the same barcode x amount of times which won't quite work for me. Do you see anyway to make this work? I'd really appreciate your input
You could use the plugin to manage incoming routers that were returned. All you would need to do would be to put the scan mode into "Receive Orders" and then scan the returned router. This would put the router back in stock. Regarding scanning multiple times, you would need to have a unique barcode number for each router and then just scan it once. Any other router wold be tracked separately. Since they all have the same UPC barcode from the manufacturer, you just need to generate a unique barcode and attach a label. We don't have that feature, but it's simple to do. Most label printers have software for this type of task. You can even do this with a spreadsheet to create the unique codes and print them.
Question: Our products are in a separate space aside from our office. Can this all be done wirelessly? It would be a pain to have to scan everything in near a computer station. Once all is set up, does each inventory process require interaction at the computer terminal? Also we use code-128 barcodes will this work?
Yes, you can do this wirelessly. You are not tied to a computer terminal. You can use a mobile device to log into your store. To scan the barcodes, we recommend a bluetooth wireless scanner. We have one that is small enough to fit in a pocket. We use code-128 barcodes with the app (or qr codes if desired), so that will work great with your current system.

Thanks for responding. I have thousands of books that I will scan barcodes of, but when i upload those isbns I want them to fetch info from the web automatically, how do i do that? How do you add info? Do you add info for each product individually?
When you have an order, How do you scan for the product ordered using the scan and how does it reflect that that is the product that was bought by the customer. I will like you to throw and enlighten on that. And does the scan comes with woocommerce or the scan is a random scanner. How do I go about using the scanner to scanner for orders.
Fulfilling orders by scanning barcodes is not a feature we have implemented yet. The current version allows to verify/update inventory and also to add to your inventory when you receive more product. We may be adding order fulfillment in the future.
