It's pretty funny looking at the comments saying that if ICT hadn't formed, both teams would be better off as they were. If there was no merger, it is highly unlikely that there'd be top flight football as quick as the united team achieved it, Scottish Cup glory and European in 2015 would've been impossible. Inverness merged to put the city on the map, to show everyone in scotland what a new team from the highlands can do.
