In this Video we are going to find the inverse of x^x.
For the Lambert W Function go to: • What is the Lambert W ...
For the application of the LWF go to : • Using the LAMBERT W FU...

Guys, if you have suggestions for some shorter videos I could make in the next few weeks , feel free to write. Next week I am moving to a New city, so I won't have much time for videos. Have a great day and weekend!

Well, it might be complex, but, I am struggling with solving (4^x)/x + x*(4^(1/x))=12 (not by graphs)... I know exactly that real solutions are 0.5 and 2, but I can't find a way o solving. I am not a mathematician, and this equation peak my attention for some time...

Another Lambert-W function video. yay! (Video suggestions at the end :) ) As already mentioned, I like your videos on Lambert-W function.. O:) One more thing is that because the graph of y = x^x fails the horizontal line test, we need to reduce the domain of the inverse. So the inverse function of y = x^x has two branches: Branch 1: Domain [ e^-(1/e) , 1 ) -> Range ( 0 , 1/e ] Branch 2: Domain [ e^-(1/e) , inf ) -> Range [ 1/e , inf ) For suggestions on videos, 1. Some real-life applications of Lambert-W function. 2. Relation between glog and Lambert-W function. 3. How to compute Lambert-W function for a value by hand (both W_0 and W_-1 branch values).

Excellent insight for the function domain! Thank you very much for your suggestion. All suggestions are very good and I will certainly consider them. Have a nice day!

@@intellecta2686 Hello Ivana, Let me edit the email below so that I can do some more study. I really should be able to understand how to handle Mathematica's solution to my differential equation: dv/dt = a ((1 - 2v/c)/(1 - v/c)) which is: v(t) = 1/2(c - cProductLog(exp(1 - 4at/c))) so that: v(t) = 1/2(c - cW(exp(1 - 4at/c))) I will study your second RU-vid video this morning describing applications of the Lambert W Function and I will then have a complete understanding of this function. You said here on RU-vid that you are moving to a new city and that you will not be making new RU-vid videos for a couple or a few weeks. All the best and many thanks, Peter Nolan. Ph.D.(physics). @@peternolan814 I am really busy at the moment, but I'll check it out as soon as I have more time. I can't promise it will be soon. If you manage to solve it yourself let me know in the comments.

@@intellecta2686 Hello Ivana, Just wonderful to hear from you. Let me study your second RU-vid video about the applications of The Lambert W Function. I am very confident that I will be able to understand the function better when I do that. In the meantime I hope you will stay safe and that you will be very happy in the new city. I understand you will be very busy for several weeks and I look forward to watching your next video in a few weeks time. All the best and many thanks, Peter. Dublin.
