Inverter air conditioners (ACs) utilize advanced technology to optimize cooling efficiency and maintain precise temperature control. The communication between the indoor and outdoor units plays a crucial role in achieving this efficiency. The working process involves a continuous exchange of signals and data between these two units to adapt to changing cooling requirements.

Working Process in indoor unit and outdoor unit
Sensors and Feedback Mechanism:
Inverter ACs are equipped with various sensors in both the indoor and outdoor units. These sensors monitor factors like room temperature, humidity, and the load on the system.
The sensors constantly send feedback to a microcontroller or a central processing unit (CPU) in both units.
Microcontroller/Processor:
The microcontroller or processor in each unit processes the incoming data from the sensors.
Based on the processed information, the microcontroller determines the required cooling capacity and adjusts the compressor speed accordingly.
Variable Speed Compressor:
In an inverter AC, the compressor has a variable speed rather than a fixed speed.
The communication between the indoor and outdoor units ensures that the compressor speed is modulated in real time to match the current cooling needs.
Communication Protocols:
Inverter ACs use sophisticated communication protocols, such as digital signal processing (DSP) or other proprietary protocols, to exchange information between the indoor and outdoor units.
These protocols enable seamless and fast communication for quick adjustments in response to changing conditions.
Frequency and Voltage Control:
The communication process involves regulating the frequency and voltage supplied to the compressor motor.
By adjusting these parameters, the inverter system achieves precise control over the compressor speed, allowing for continuous modulation within a wide range.
Power Savings:
The constant communication and dynamic adjustments enable the inverter AC to operate at lower power levels during periods of lower cooling demand.
This results in significant energy savings compared to non-inverter AC systems, which operate at fixed speeds.
