How do you have the confidence to wear longer coat, as someone who is on the shorter side? I can’t help feeling a bit silly sometimes, which is why I gravitate to coats that stop mid thigh 😕
I like drama 😆 The designers themselves are around 5’2” and they wear the style well. I have never thought a long coat would drown me - for as long as I can recall I’ve preferred a long oversized statement coat. Way back to my teen years.

Haha! I get that. To be honest, as long as the interior is canvas they’re both about the same. The biggest difference is that the 17 goes over the shoulder. Game changer.

Mine is coming from The Row, New York boutique. It’ll soon be in stock in more places as it’s just coming in. It looks like Moda Operandi might have it soon and Luisaviaroma seems to have some stock as well.
Listen just because some tall people are wearing things oversiezed and ill fitted , doesnt mean it is the way that petite people should dressed... dress what fits you not following the trend, fashion blogger 101 , dont you see these clothes make you even shorter and nothing really looks flattering on you ?
I don’t follow trends. I wear what I like and I’ve liked long oversized flowing coats for a very long time. I enjoy being 5’2” and don’t worry about looking short or tall. It’s not a focus for me. Also, I like the way I look. You are entitled to your opinion but honestly, I don’t dress to please anyone but me…and I think I look great!
