Investec Opera Holland Park: Behind the scenes 

Holland Park Opera is more than a sponsor. Investec invades out lives at cricket , the Derby ( shifted from a mid week cockney holiday in the 80s) etc but is at least helping out with food distribution in London. Holland park opera, Kenwood summer concerts started off as public initiatives and while private funding helps , but often overwhelms these events and with absurdly high profile branding. In the case of the LCC/ GLC Kenwood concerts they were destroyed by food concessions , catering and overpriced and unneeded glossy programmes seating and enclosure fences. So well done Investec, but much less 'in your face' marketing and kowtowing by public event administrators and directors.
