It's to add more exploration otherwise the area would be a bit empty. That's the point of Genshin Impact after all. But then again, the quests are not voicelined so it's not filling that empty space.

Idk if you figured it out yet but in the second one you basically have to make sure that the floating ball that you pick up will hit all 4 pots, so much stand at opposite sides and press the button to shoot it out. You’ll know you hit them cause all 4 of them will have orange smoke coming out of them
