Yo I actually like this move from UCF. I like how their taking these players in and building a winning culture. These guys are going to be special this year. Love the videos! Keep up the good work
A person that shoots into a car full of people should not have a second chance I’m sorry he knew the opportunity he had in front of him before he did what he did man I just can’t have no sympathy for any mfer that is blessed with talent and opportunity like that and they still try to go off in the streets
I’m at student at UCF and I love this decision. Giving these young men a second chance at life and their careers is very necessary. Coach Dawkins is building something special here with the recruiting and I’m super excited for the future of our basketball program!
I never knew UCF was so helpful. The amount lives their program impacts is insane. Mikey is about to go off this coming season. The second chance they gave him will be a game-changer for him and for his fans!!
Shout out to UCF giving these young adults who deserve another opportunity to showcase there athletic abilities. Much love to UCF and they continue to grow on me every time something happens.
As someone who lives literally 5 minutes down the road, the hype around this team is INSANE! They are doing wondrous things and giving kids a second chance! Wish I had the chance to see you at the campus because this video idea was awesome! Keep it up producing the content!
So that star logo is called the Polaris Star. It comes from the Pegasus academic logo. It is used all around UCF and represents the school motto “Reach for the Stars”
as a life long ucf fan i appreciate this content, this story and what coach dawkins is doing for these young men. Cant wait for the first home game. Amazing.

The UCF basketball program is dedicated to excellence both in athletics and personal development, gaining national recognition for its competitive spirit. By prioritizing player development, the program enhances athletic abilities while fostering essential life skills, preparing athletes for future successes. Through mentorship, academic assistance, and community involvement, UCF basketball significantly impacts players' lives, cultivating resilience and discipline that go beyond the sport. Ultimately, the program is not only developing talented players but also nurturing future leaders.
I am a UCF fan and honestly I really enjoy this content and how the coach is really giving them a second chance to do what they need to succeed I’m excited to watch the games this year and watch Mikey Williams be electric this year, they are gonna be nothing but great this year and are gonna prove to the world what they can do!
Dior Johnson : pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges in December 2022 for simple assault and strangulation, stemming from a September 5 incident in the same year where he struck a woman multiple times, causing bruising, and forcing her head into a bed, making it difficult for her to breathe. Johnson was suspended from Pittsburgh during this period but was reinstated after pleading guilty.
In all seriousness ucf is giving these young men great opportunities and are changing their lives thanks for making this educational video also ucf looks like they have a lot of talent and are a great school looking to win big this upcoming season thanks cullin
I’ve rlly seems like a school that cares about their players, which is awesome bc that’s really rare nowadays. They’re one of my dream schools for a reason. They know everybody has struggles, but they see good.
The controversy is increased because these young men were charged with VERY serious crimes. I respect coach Dawkins so much for giving them a chance, cus I know I wouldn’t want players who strangle women and/or shoot at people in my program.
Great content. But all these positive comments are mind blowing. You all are the real GOATS. Believe in second chances. No one is perfect 💯 blessings to all
I wasn’t expecting this collab , but I’m glad somebody is shining light on a great school like UCF . I can’t wait to see their basketball team play this year , I believe they have enough fire power to punch a ticket in the tournament this year !
As a UCF student myself I’m hyped for this season and the opportunity these guys are getting. It’s time to show some respect on our name and let everyone know who’s the top dawg in the Big 12 😤 Go knights! Charge on!
UCF is a really great school for giving new opportunities for these players. They are changing the lives of these players by helping them get a new path to their dreams of making it pro. UCF is making a big impact In not only basketball but in life in general by their support.
I Love the amazing work UCF is doing! Their dedication to empowering young minds and providing opportunities for growth is truly inspiring. Keep making a positive impact in these students' lives!" ❤❤🔥
Johnny Dawkins. The Brotherhood. Brotherhood is more than just playing together. It’s sharing and caring about another human. Offering opportunities inspite of your past! Join in and give this “brotherhood “ a chance. Thanks Coach!!!
Na, UCF is just giving these guys a legit second chance. They would not have another chance at any other big D1 school. For sure hoping for the best in these players and their futures.
Mikey I get it young and dumb, caught up made very poor choices that could have ended a life in a senseless way. Dior is a total POS and beat the shit out of a female. Not just oh they argued, and he slapped her, no the dude absolutely beat the crap out of a woman then held her against her will. Go read his charges and the case yourself. That dude doesnt deserve shit but prison. I made my own mistakes and was given a second chance, so im all for giving young guys a fresh start. There are just some things that there is no second chance or reprieve. I do not agree with this kid even having the right to play or be around a college campus after what he did to that woman.
